2023 NFL Schedule Release Best Matchups
WEEK 1: Buffalo Bills at New York Jets – Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET
Aaron Rodgers will make his debut for the Jets at home, in Gotham City, vs. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. This guy loves drama - how’s that for dramatic?
WEEK 5: Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers – Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET
It’s an old-school rivalry and fans of both teams will be decked out in the timeless jerseys with their finest pair of jean shorts. Sunday Night Football at its finest.
WEEK 11: Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs – Monday 8:15 p.m. ET
It’s not only the Super Bowl rematch but a rematch of one of the best Super Bowls in recent memory. What more needs to be said?
WEEK 11: Arizona Cardinals at Houston Texans – Sunday, 1 p.m. ET
Just kidding, this game is going to be terrible.
WEEK 17: Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday 4:25 p.m. ET
You can basically pick any Chiefs game and put it in this list. The Chiefs vs. Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets or the Chiefs vs. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills will both be entertaining watches. But these games between the Bengals and Chiefs are electric, specifically because Cincinnati has actually won some. If everything goes according to plan, there will still be top-seed implications on the line and this will be a good one. And it will also be on New Year’s Eve – so get after it!
Best NFL Schedule Release Videos
Every NFL team is now getting in on the fun of releasing their own schedules via a funny or epic release video. Here are some of the best ones:
Denver Broncos
Los Angeles Chargers
Tennessee Titans
Atlanta Falcons
2023 Fantasy Football Championship Week (Week 17)
Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs
We already mentioned this one above but it also falls squarely on championship week. As if drafting guys from these teams weren’t already appealing, the over/under for this game will no doubt be above 50. This is the kind of game that could win you a million dollars (or two million on Best Ball Mania) on Underdog. Use this link and Promo Code FANTASYALARM to get in on that - they will match 100% of your deposit up to $100!
Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos
Do you believe Sean Payton and Joe Lombardi can turn these Broncos around? If you do, this could be a shootout with Kellen Moore now calling the plays for Justin Herbert and the gang. Both teams are loaded up on weapons and some new play-calling could make all the difference.
Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens
These might not be your father’s Ravens as Greg Roman is out and Todd Monken and his high-flying “Air Raid” offense are in. If Mike McDaniel can recapture the success the Dolphins had last season when everyone was healthy, this could be a barn burner.

I could not be more excited about a mid-day game for Black Friday. And to top it off, the friendly home delivery czar Jeff Bezos is making it free for everyone to watch via Amazon Prime. What an angel. Christmas has also basically just become Thanksgiving 2.0 for my family since we love food and football so I’m all for the three-game slate. I’m just not sure how the Nickelodeon Slime Time broadcast is going to top Patrick Star calling a live interception from Russell Wilson to former Seahawks defensive captain Bobby Wagner.
2023 NFL Schedule Primetime Games
Monday Night Football Schedule
Fantasy football managers love to look ahead to the NFL Monday Night Football schedule because those are the games that signify the end of our fantasy football weekly matchups. A massive performance on Monday night could flip your weekend entirely and have your opponent crying. On the flip side, your star player could put up a dud on MNF and ruin your week (that is, until the upcoming Thursday game). Here are some notable Monday Night Football matchups for the 2023 season:
- Week 1: Buffalo Bills at New York Jets
- Week 6: Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Chargers
- Week 11: Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs
- Week 13: Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars
- Week 16: Baltimore Ravens at San Francisco 49ers
NBC Sunday Night Football Schedule
Waitin' all day for Sunday night (football), right?! The NBC Sunday Night Football matchups are usually the best ones of the weekend and are a prime opportunity for all of us sports bettors out there to get one last taste before the work week starts up again. The SNF game regularly determines fantasy football matchups and turns losses into wins (or vice versa). Here are some of the best Sunday Night Football games for the 2023 NFL season:
- Week 1: Detroit Lions at Kansas City Chiefs
- Week 4: Kansas City Chiefs at New York Jets
- Week 5: Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers
- Week 9: Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals
- Week 12: Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers
- Week 14: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys
Thursday Night Football Schedule
As bad as some of the games might be, we all love watching Thursday Night Football to get the fantasy football week started. Even if it is a bad viewing experience more often than not, we're still invested because we have NFL bets going or players in action from our fantasy football rosters. Either way, it's football and what else are you doing on a Thursday night? Here are some of the top TNF matchups this year:
- Week 2: Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles
- Week 6: Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs
- Week 11: Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens
- Week 12: Miami Dolphins at New York Jets
2023 NFL Schedule International Games
There are FIVE international games this year, so go renew that passport. No Mexico City game, but we have three in London and two in Germany.
2023 NFL London Games
Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
- WEEK 4: October 1
- LOCATION: Wembley Stadium, London UK
- TIME: 9:30 a.m. ET
- CHANNEL: ESPN+
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills
- WEEK 5: October 8
- LOCATION: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London UK
- TIME: 9:30 a.m. ET
- CHANNEL: NFL Network
Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans
- WEEK 6: October 15
- LOCATION: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London UK
- TIME: 9:30 a.m. ET
- CHANNEL: NFL Network
2023 NFL Germany Games
Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs
- WEEK 9: November 5
- LOCATION: Frankfurt Stadium
- TIME: 9:30 a.m. ET
- CHANNEL: ESPN+
Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots
- WEEK 12: November 12
- LOCATION: Frankfurt Stadium
- TIME: 9:30 a.m. ET
- CHANNEL: NFL Network
Am I little sad that we are losing one of our best matchups to Europe (Dolphins vs. Chiefs)? And that my New England Patriots are essentially losing a home game? And that it should be a terrible game vs. the Colts? Yes. But it’s all worth it for the sake of growing the sport. Plus, I love having football start at 9:30 a.m. ET and roll right into 1 o’clock. And it’s also kind of funny that the league is basically just sending the Jaguars out there and making them stay for two full weeks. So I’m on board with it.
