NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Wednesday Playbook

SGA is now the betting favorite to win the MVP award, and that tells you all you need to know about his recent play. He is completely matchup proof so I hesitate to even mention the tough spot here. 

Cade is playing big minutes and finding ceiling performances on seemingly a nightly basis. Elite matchup against a very banged up Nets team. 

If Towns cannot suit up for this one Brunson becomes one of the top plays on the slate. The matchup is outstanding with Toronto ranking 7th in pace and 26th in DRtg. 

Maxey gets the best possible matchup with Joel Embiid and Paul George already ruled out. A huge priority and the top play on the slate. 

We haven't seen an injury report yet, but I think it is highly unlikely Zion plays the second leg of the b2b here, and Brandon Ingram and Trey Murphy are also still expected to be out. Murray has posted a 29.9% usage rate and 44.4% assist rate with those three off the floor this season. 

UPDATE: Zion, Ingram, and Murphy confirmed out. Murray received a questionable tag himself. 

Assuming Kawhi Leonard is still limited to around 20 minutes, Harden is a fine GPP option with a great matchup. Denver ranks top-five in pace and 19th in DRtg.  

The minutes have looked solid for Giddey of late with Dosunmu still out and Lonzo Ball still limited. Giddey has played at least 30 minutes in three of his last four games. 

Back-to-back ceiling performances and now gets a matchup against a depleted Pelicans team. Hard to find legitimate 50 FP upside in this price range. 

We haven't seen an injury report yet, but I think it is highly unlikely Zion plays the second leg of the b2b here, and Brandon Ingram and Trey Murphy are also still expected to be out. McCollum has posted a ridiculous 37.1% usage rate with those three off the floor this season.

Powell continues to play big minutes and score in bunches, even with Kawhi Leonard being slowly worked back into the rotation. 

Joel Embiid and Paul George have been ruled out, joining Jared McCain as high-usage players unavailable for the Sixers. Oubre has seen the biggest usage bump (+5.5%) among regular rotation members with those three off the floor this season.  

Sharpe is coming off a near triple-double (20-8-8) against the Pistons. He gets another great matchup here against a shorthanded Pelicans squad. 

Nembhard becomes much more of a priority if Haliburton cannot play, but he is a fine large-field GPP option if Hali is in. The Bulls play at the third fastest pace and rank 24th in DRtg. 

If Castle draws the start for the Jeremy Sochan he is one of the top value options on DK. He is more of a GPP option on FD where the price is not as friendly.  

Hart has played 40+ minutes in five straight games. He is an upside GPP option in a great matchup if KAT plays, and he would be a priority option if KAT sits. 

LaVine has been ballin' for the Bulls, with three straight games of at least 32 points. He gets the up-tempo Pacers in the highest game total of the night. 

Averaging 41.6 minutes per game over his last 10 games. Would get a nice usage bump if Towns is unable to play. 

This is a very shorthanded Nets team and Ziaire Williams should have plenty of opportunity. He played nearly 26 minutes last game and could see even more run as he gets further away from his recent injury. 

Joel Embiid and Paul George have been ruled out, joining Jared McCain as high-usage players unavailable for the Sixers. Martin has seen a healthy usage bump (+4.6%) with those three off the floor this season.  

This is a very shorthanded Nets team and Tyrese Martin should have plenty of opportunity. He has played around 30 minutes in each of the last two games and is still underpriced for that role. 

It has been a while since we have seen a nuclear performance from Giannis, but it can come on any given night in any given matchup – even against Wemby. 

Love the game environment for Siakam and he becomes a priority option if Haliburton ends up sitting. Hali has not missed a game this season, but Siakam posted a 25.7% usage rate in five games with Haliburton inactive last season. 

Herb should be in line for big minutes with Zion, BI, and Trey Murphy all out for this game. Great matchup against the Blazers 27th-ranked defense. 

Joel Embiid is out and Andre Drummond is questionable. Yabusele played 36 minutes and posted a double-double last night in this situation. He gets an even better matchup tonight. 

JRE could potentially draw the start here for the resting Zion Williamson. Great matchup and too cheap for his role if that is indeed the case. 

Jokic DK points over his last four games – 82.25, 83, 72.75, 93. The price tag is approaching $13K and he missed last night with an illness, but you cannot deny the recent production. 

Tough matchup against Giannis, but Wemby can put up a huge score on any night and he can do it in many different ways. 

KAT is questionable after missing last game with a knee injury. He should feast in this great matchup if he is able to play. 

Tough spot here against Cleveland, but Hartenstein should see mid-30s minutes given the size on the other side. 

Love the matchup against the shorthanded Pelicans. Jerami Grant is out, and Deni Avdija and Donovan Clingan are questionable. Ayton should be able to find plenty of usage in mid-30s minutes. 

Turner is questionable, but I like this spot for him if he is able to play. He put up 15-7-4 with 4 stocks against the Bulls last time they met.
