NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Sunday Playbook

Luka is in play every slate he is on, as he has one of the best floor/ceiling combinations in the entire league. He gets a difficult matchup against the Warriors 4th-ranked defense, but Luka can win in any matchup. I actually prefer him as a play if Steph Curry suits up on the other side, as that should help keep this game close and increase the pace. 

Morant has posted two consecutive ceiling performances after a bit of a slow start to the season for his standards. I love the game environment here if LeBron is able to go, with a healthy 234.5 point total and 4.5 point spread. The Grizzlies play fast and the Lakers rank just 25th in DefRtg. 

Curry is questionable to play with neck inflammation, but if he suits up I have GPP interest, especially on FD where he is just $8,400. We should see a tightly contested game between Western Conference contenders. 

Suggs is coming off a 32-point performance last time out against the Bucks. His ceiling remains sky high with Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner sidelined. 

Brutal matchup against the Celtics, but legitimate 50+ FP upside. Poole makes for a great runback to Boston exposure, as a ceiling performance from Poole is the Wizards best chance to keep this one close.

Unless we get significant injury news, value is going to be tough to come by on his slate. Conley doesn't possess a ton of upside, but he is a solid contributor for less than $5,0000. 

Best reserved for GPP given the low total, but Edwards has upside in any matchup. He hasn't accessed his ceiling as often this season, but the price is sitting at a level where I comfortable taking some shots if making multiple lineups. 

I think we can expect a competitive game environment if Steph Curry suits up for the Warriors, and both teams play at a top-10 pace. Kyrie has 60 FP upside, and represents a cheaper alternative to Luka if looking for Mavs exposure.

Should be locked in for 30+ minutes against the Suns 21st-ranked defense. Sharpe has posted a career-best 24% usage rate this season. 

Hield could potentially end up the best value option of the slate if Curry and Wiggins sit, but I have interest even if they both play. Hield has been great in his last two games after shifting into the starting lineup, and he has a chance to keep his starting spot even if Wiggins returns. 

There is plenty of usage to go around with Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner still out. Black capitalized on that last game, as he posted a 23.2% usage rate in over 32 minutes. The minutes are volatile, but the opportunity will be there if he continues to play well. 

Immense upside in one of the best possible matchups. Need Washington to stay somewhat competitive for Tatum to reach his ceiling. 

LeBron has missed the last two games with a foot injury and is listed questionable again tonight. He nearly posted a 40-point triple-double (39-10-11) the last time he played. If he plays, I have GPP interest in an up-tempo matchup with the Grizzlies. 

A cheaper alternative to Tatum if hunting for ceiling from the team with the highest implied total on the slate. Elite matchup against the 29th-ranked defense in the league. Need Washington to stay somewhat competitive for Brown to reach his ceiling. 

Not an ideal matchup against Boston, but Coulibaly has flashed ceiling with Kuzma, Brogdon, Kispert and George out. He is coming off a 27-6-5 line against a tough Cleveland defense, so I don't mind going back to him here. 

Champagnie has seen an increased role in the starting lineup with Kuzma, Brogdon, Kispert and George out. He has topped 34 minutes and 30 FP in each of his last 3 games. The price tag is rising, but still acceptable given the increased role. 

I wouldn't expect 18 points and 7 stocks again like McDaniels posted in his last game, but he is a decent value option on a slate that currently doesn't have many. 

KD returned from a 3-game injury absence to post a 50 FP performance against Utah last game. Durant gets another great matchup against a Portland team that ranks 24th in DefRtg. 

Randle is a better play on FD where his price tag has fallen to $7,100. He has been more of a floor play than a ceiling play recently, but with the falling tag I don't mind chasing a ceiling performance. 

Draymond is back in his starting role and has played 30+ minutes in each of his last two games. Could be asked to step into a larger offensive role if Curry (Q) and/or Wiggins (Q) can't play in this one. 

Rui would get a big bump up the priority list if LeBron (Q) can't play in this one. He posted a 40+ FP performance in one of the last two games LeBron missed. 

Kuminga has seen an increased role and playing time after joining the starting lineup his last 5 games. He is one of the better values on the slate even if Curry and Wiggins both play. 

Washington remains shorthanded with Kuzma, Brogdon, Kispert and George out. Sarr should have a nice role albeit in a tough matchup. He is a fine GPP option opposite some Boston exposure. 

With value options currently scarce on this slate, Clarke is in play as a floor option who should see 20+ minutes. He would get a boost if Edey (Q) and/or Huff (Q) are out again. 

The consistency for AD has been lacking recently, but he is my favorite option on the slate regardless of if LeBron is able to return to the lineup. I love the game environment here against a fast-paced Grizzlies team. 

Wemby is always tournament option for his immense upside. He gets a tough matchup against the Wolves, but he can find a ceiling performance in multiple ways. 

Towns has posted consecutive 60 FP performances and has flashed big-time ceiling all season long. He gets a tough matchup against the Magic, who have played great defense even without Banchero and Wagner. He is a low-owned GPP option. 

I love the price tag for Zinger in this elite matchup with Washington. The wide spread causes a little bit of blowout concern, but he should easily pay off this tag if the game stays somewhat close. 

Gobert is a solid mid-range option despite the tough matchup with Wemby on the other side of the game. More of a floor play than a ceiling option. 

Goga is having a solid season and has earned more playing time recently. He has averaged 28.5 minutes per game over his last 7 games, and has posted back-to-back 40+ FP performances. 

Lively has seen an uptick in playing time recently, averaging 26.9 minutes per game over his last 6 games. He is just a touch underpriced for his recent role.
