Top-Price NBA DFS Core Plays
Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF Milwaukee Bucks
The last time we saw Giannis take the floor he went out there and dropped 81 fantasy points against the Chicago Bulls. The last time we saw the Warriors take the floor they lost by 52 points to the Boston Celtics. I'm expecting Golden State to put up a much better fight, at home here tonight and that should mean full minutes for Giannis here to pay off his price tag.
LeBron James, SF/PF Los Angeles Lakers
Lebron is doing all he can to bring the Lakers into the top six and that goal will go a long way today with a win against the Kings. In two games against the Kings this season James is averaging 64 fantasy points. This matchup has the highest game total on the board and the Lakers are slight home favorites. Lebron is averaging 54 fantasy points over his last five games while playing 36 minutes a night. Lets ride!
De'Aaron Fox, PG Sacramento Kings
While the Kings haven't been able to stop Lebron this season, the Lakers haven't been able to stop Fox either. The Kings point guard is averaging nearly 54 fantasy points in two games against the Lakers this season and after missing a few games due to injury, Fox wasted no time getting back into form, playing 39 minutes against the Bulls.
Mid-Price NBA DFS Core Plays
Jarrett Allen/Darius Garland/Caris LeVert - Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cavaliers are without Donovan Mitchell, Max Strus and Evan Mobley here today against the Hawks in a great spot. We've seen big time performances out of all three of these players this year when given the opportunity to see increased usage and volume on the offensive end. It helps that the Hawks are also a high paced team that doesn't play a ton of defense.
John Collins/Collin Sexton/Jordan Clarkson - Utah Jazz
The Jazz are without Lauri Markkanen, Keyonte George, Walker Kessler and Taylor Hendricks here today. The matchup against the Bulls is going to be at a slow pace but, once again, all three of these guys should be playing 35 minutes here. The Bulls are also not the greatest defensive team, especially when it comes to defending the three-point line.
Tobias Harris/Kelly Oubre/Buddy Hield - Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers are still without Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey tonight. With the team on the back-to-back they are also without Kyle Lowry in this matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. Oubre may be the highest rostered player on the slate when it's all said and done but all three should be considered for your lineups this evening.
DeMar DeRozan/Coby White/Nikola Vucevic - Chicago Bulls
I don't mean to list 100 players here but the injuries and matchups on today's slate just make it easy to suggest team stacks, especially when they are all priced in the mid and value tiers. This is a big pace up spot for the Bulls and we know defensively the Jazz are among the worst in the NBA. We could see two guys here approach 50 fantasy points here today.
Value-Tier NBA DFS Core Plays
Cameron Payne, PG Philadelphia 76ers
Payne got the start last night and played 23 minutes. With Kyle Lowry now ruled out for today along with Tyrese Maxey we have to assume those minutes are going to approach 30 here today for Payne and his price point rightfully has him listed as the highest rostered player on the slate.
No shortage of guards to play tonight in the value tier. We saw Dunn start the second half with Keyonte George down with an illness and Taylor Hendricks out with injury. We expect Dunn to start tonight or at least play a big role off the bench for Utah with all of their injuries.
Dean Wade/Georges Niang/Sam Merrill - Cleveland Cavaliers
Wade is getting a ton of ownership and I understand why after his big 4th quarter last night but I'm a bit skeptical because we've seen Wade have chances before to produce and he hasn't That said, hard to fight 40% of the field if he does hit shots. For me, I'm looking more at Niang and Merrill has to guys you can pivot to at lower rostership.
