Today's MLB DFS Lineup Optimizer & Generator

I only like three starting pitchers out of the five-game slate, as you'll see below.

You'll also want to include most of the featured players below. I paired many of my favorite low-cost players and included Aaron Judge in the model lineup for DraftKings.

MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Pitchers

Bryce Miller, Seattle Mariners

In the last month, Bryce Miller has struck out over 29% of batters and has limited his previous 109 batters faced to a .240 wOBA. He's also kept walks down to 6.4% and has allowed just 21.7% of line drives over the last 30 days.

Miller has struggled against lefties, allowing a .240 ISO and wOBA of .311 to his last 55 lefties. However, the lefties in Texas' lineup have tallied a .087 ISO and wOBA of .259 with more than 20% of strikeouts. It's likely Miller pitches well against those subpar lefties in the Rangers' lineup.

Beyond that, Miller has recorded 12% of swinging strikes and continues to add a high whiff percentage. According to our MLB DFS projections, he's the best pitcher tonight.

Nestor Cortes, New York Yankees

Nestor Cortes has held his last 108 batters to a .118 ISO and wOBA of .228. While his strikeout rate isn't significantly high, he's still held walks to 3.7% over the last month. He'll likely face a Red Sox order with seven righties. But those seven righties have hit just a .156 ISO and wOBA of .259 over the last 30 days. They've also struck out 35.2% of the time in the previous 30 days.

As a lineup, including lefties Jarren Duran and Rafael Devers, Boston has struck out 33.2% of the time against lefties and has walked only 4%. Rivalry games are challenging sometimes. But Cortes looks to have the best value on tonight's slate. Cortes is easily one of the the best value MLB DFS picks on tonight's slate.

Frankie Montas, Milwaukee Brewers

Frankie Montas is another candidate who can add a high rate of strikeouts in tonight's game. Montas has struck out 24.6% of batters over the last 30 days and has held his previous 122 batters to a .095 ISO and wOBA of .248.

In addition, he'll face a Giants lineup that has struck out 29.4% of the time against righties in the last 30 days. Only Mike Yastrzemski has struck out fewer than 23.4% of the time against righties in the last 30 days.

Furthermore, the Giants' projected lineup has only hit a .289 wOBA against righties over the last 30 days, including five players with a wOBA of no better than .292. Montas also has really good value for a low-tier price tonight, per our MLB DFS projections.

MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Hitters

Highest Expected Run Totals

MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Hitters

Connor Norby, 3B. Miami Marlins

Connor Norby has had 31 at-bats against lefties over the last month. In those 31 at-bats, he's hit a .323 ISO and wOBA of .414. Norby has also struck out 38.7% of the time. So that's certainly a concern. But he's added 52.6% of fly balls, 31.6% of line drives, 47.4% of hard contact, and a 15.8%-barrel percentage when he connects.

That's all equated to a BABIP of .471. These are crazy stats for someone who isn't even in the top five of third baseman MLB DFS picks tonight. Meanwhile, he'll take on Mitchell Parker of the Nationals. Parker is a lefty who has earned 24.7% of strikeouts against righties over the last 30 days. But he's also allowed a .275 ISO and wOBA of .425 to his previous 77 righties.

Parker has given up 35.3% of line drives and 31.4% of fly balls. He's also allowed 56.9% of hard contact and earned only 10.5% swinging strikes. You'll want to slot Norby in your 3B slot.

Kyle Manzardo, 1B, Cleveland Guardians

Kyle Manzardo is another young prospect who is tearing it up for the Guardians. Manzardo has hit a .348 ISO and wOBA of 467 in his last 25 at-bats against righties. The left-handed slugger has hit 50% of fly balls, 31.2% of line drives, 56.2% of hard contact, and a barrel percentage of 18.8% against his last 25 righties.

On the other hand, he'll take on Ryan Pepiot of the Rays, who is a right-hander struggling against lefties. Over the last 30 days, lefties have hit a .224 ISO and wOBA of .372 against him. He's also earned just 20.8% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month and has given up 29.4% of line drives.

Manzardo is a candidate for some hard-hit line drives tonight, and he's one of the cheapest MLB DFS picks out there.

Jackson Chourio, OF, William Contreras, C, Willy Adames, SS, Milwaukee Brewers

The Brewers have a few righties tearing it up against other righties. Jackson Chourio has added a .311 ISO and wOBA of .414 against his last 85 righties. Behind him, William Contreras has added a .211 ISO and wOBA of .370 against his last 88 righties.

Finally, Willy Adames has recorded a .288 ISO and wOBA of .370 against his last 88 righties. They'll all take on Hayden Birdsong of the Giants. Birdsong is a righty himself, who has allowed a .154 ISO and wOBA of .318 to his last 32 righties.

Those 32 righties have hit 36.8% of line drives and 31.6% of fly balls. They've also contributed 52.6% of hard contact and have walked 18.8% of the time. The Brewers top of the order should have a field day against Birdsong. Use this stack to help narrow down your MLB DFS picks
