2025 Player Outlook

Chourio’s rookie season was phenomenal, as he joined the 20/20 club and slashed .275/.327/.464. His walk rate was right on line with numbers he posted in the minors, and for 2025, he seems to be a better value in leagues that value batting average compared to OBP. As the weather warmed up last year, so did Chourio, and he posted a .310 average and .387 wOBA with 12 home runs and 12 stolen bases over the final 63 games. He’ll open the 2025 campaign as the everyday leadoff hitter for Milwaukee, and in just his second big league season, he has all the talent in the world to join the 30/30 club. A safer projection is that he goes 25/25 with a .265ish batting average, but he makes a lot of hard contact, and if he trades a few ground balls for fly balls, he could cruise past 30 long balls in 2025.
