Hunter Henry Sleeper Fantasy NFL Pick: More Than 3.5 Receptions

Hard to go away from a guy who just had eight catches last week when his catch projection this week is set at just 3.5. 

Many expected the tight ends to be featured heavily in the New England offense this season given their lack of high-end talent at the wide receiver position and in Week 1 we saw both Austin Hooper and Hunter Henry contribute in the teams win against the Bengals but in Week 2 it was all Hunter Henry as Seattle had no answer for him in the first half of that game.

Jacoby Brissett is going to live and die with the intermediate passing game which should allow for Henry to find some soft spots in the Jets defense to settle down and give Brissett and easy target to throw to, especially given the Patriots poor pass protection and Brissett needing to get the ball out quickly to avoid sacks and turnovers.

 

 

 

Joey Slye Sleeper Fantasy NFL Pick: More Than 1.5 FGM

One thing we've quickly learned about Jerod Mayo as the Patriots new head coach is that he learned from Bill Belicheck that you never pass up on the opportunities to score points.

This offseason the team signed Joey Slye, and he won the kicking battle against last year's rookie Chad Ryland.

Slye has been strong this season, hitting two field goals in each of the first two games of the season with his lone miss coming on a blocked kick where was more of a protection breakdown than anything he did.

I'd expect the Patriots to move the ball on the ground but continue to struggle to actually score touchdowns which will set Slye up for a handful of field goal attempts.
