Welcome to the NFL DFS Week 10 RB Coach article! A few of the NFL DFS RBs I recommended last week had mediocre performances including Aaron Jones (12.2 DK/10.2 FD points), Kyren Williams (10.5 DK/10 FD points), and D’Andre Swift (14.2 DK/11.2 FD points).

I recommended Nick Chubb, who has a bye this week, but it’s clear that he’s not ready for primetime just yet. On the other hand Bijan Robinson (21.5 DK/18 FD points) and Chase Brown (29.7 DK/ 27.2 FD points) were good calls and my recommendation to fade Tank Bigsby (2.2 DK/2.2 FD points) was correct as well.

Let’s move forward and get some NFL DFS RBs who’ll help us win some cash with our NFL DFS Week 10 RB Coach!

NFL DFS Week 10 RB Coach For FanDuel & DraftKings Fantasy

By now, you, like me, have probably already identified the broad group of NFL DFS RBs that you’d consider adding to DFS lineups depending on their matchups and expected production.

However, due to the volatile nature of the NFL DFS RB position we’ll probably see additional RBs emerge from within the deep recesses of NFL depth charts who can eventually be useful in NFL DFS lineups before the season is over.

NFL Week 10 RBs

In season long leagues those RBs will be the hot waiver wire add of the week, but in DFS as long as you can fit a players salary into your lineup you don’t have to worry about how much FAAB you’ll have to sacrifice in order to win a bidding war with your league mates.

In DFS, that NFL DFS RB, and every other player, is available to you as long as you can find a way to fit their salary into your DFS lineup, and as long as they are not on a bye.

The Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and Las Vegas Raiders have a bye in Week 10, but the following backs in this NFL DFS Week 10 RB Coach are ones that I’ve identified who have varying DFS salaries and that you can consider using in your lineups this week.

NFL DFS RB Top-Tier Picks For Week 10

Alvin Kamara, RB New Orleans Saints - DraftKings: $8,100 | FanDuel: $8,500

Things have changed dramatically for the Saints since they got off to a fast start at the beginning of the season, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is the fact that Kamara is the focal point of their offense. He had a huge Week 9, scoring 30.5 and 27.5 DraftKings and FanDuel points respectively, and I have no problem recommending him for a second straight week.

With Saints RB Jamaal Williams (groin) banged, Kendre Miller on the IR, and injuries to some of the team’s key receivers, Kamara seems to be the last man standing on the offensive front for the Saints heading into Week 10. He takes on the Atlanta Falcons this week and in his Week 4 matchup against them he scored 24.9 DraftKings and 21.4 FanDuel points.

Kamara’s ability to catch passes out of the backfield provides a safety net for DFS players looking to use him as an NFL DFS RB every week, but with the Saints’ depleted WR room, he may be even more involved in New Orleans’ passing game in Week 10. Interestingly, his Week 10 FanDuel salary is actually $300 less compared to his FanDuel salary from Week 9.

Bijan Robinson, RB Atlanta Falcons - DraftKings: $7,700 | FanDuel: $8,800

At first, I hesitated to include Robinson as an NFL DFS RB for a second straight week but, he has a very good matchup against a Saints team that is falling apart as the season progresses.

They’ve given up the fourth most rushing yards (623) and eight rushing TDs to NFL DFS RBs over the past five weeks. RBs have also been averaging just over 5 YPC against the Saints during that time frame. Robinson has been lighting it up lately, averaging 5.01 YPC and catching 27 passes over his last six games.

NFL DFS RB Mid-Tier Picks For Week 10

J.K. Dobbins, RB Los Angeles Chargers - DraftKings: $7,200 | FanDuel: $7,300

Dobbins has a nice matchup against a Tennessee Titans run defense that is giving up 4.83 YPC and five rushing TDs to NFL DFS RBs over the past three weeks.

Dobbins got off to a hot start in Weeks 1 and 2 and then plateaued in Weeks 3 through 6, but he has three rushing TDs and is averaging 4.58 YPC over the past two weeks. The Chargers continue to be a team that loves to run the football and Dobbins is averaging just under 16 carries per game.

James Cook, RB Buffalo Bills - DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $7,800

Cook is another NFL DFS RB who is making a second straight appearance in this column. Let’s face it, with a mediocre 11.9 DraftKings and 9.4 FanDuel points showing last week he owes us one!

I think he’ll deliver against a Colts team that has given up the fifth most rushing yards (620) and 4.73 YPC to NFL DFS RBs over the past five weeks. Cook is averaging 4.55 YPC on the season and over the past two weeks that YPC average is a gaudy 5.74. Cook is a slightly more affordable NFL DFS RB this week.

His DraftKings salary is $200 less than his salary from Week 9. Cook is also a bit more affordable on the FanDuel platform with his Week 10 salary decreasing by $100 compared to Week 9.

Chuba Hubbard, RB Carolina Panthers - DraftKings: $6,700 | FanDuel: $7,100

This might be a slightly risky recommendation since rookie NFL DFS RB Jonathon Brooks ($5000 DraftKings/$6000 FanDuel salary) is expected to make his season debut in Week 10, but Brooks’ snaps are likely to be limited in his first action since last fall.

I just can’t stop myself from picking on my New York Giants who are giving up 5.43 YPC to opposing NFL DFS RBs over their last three games. Hubbard is coming off a game in which he rushed for 72 yards (4.80 YPC) and scored two rushing TDs against the Saints in Week 9.

The time may come when we’re no longer able to rely on Hubbard as a one of our starting NFL DFS RBs, but I think he’s got at least one more productive game in him.

NFL DFS RB Value Picks For Week 10

Tyrone Tracy, RB New York Giants - DraftKings: $6,000 | FanDuel: $6,100

It wouldn’t be an NFL DFS RB coach article if I couldn’t find a way to target the Carolina Panthers and their terrible run defense. Tracy Jr. was in the NFL’s concussion protocol earlier last week but was able to play 72% of the New York Giants’ offensive snaps in Week 9. He rushed for 66 yards and averaged 4.13 YPC.

That average YPC should be much better in Week 10 since he’ll have another full week to recover from his injury and will be playing against a team that hasn’t been able to stop the run this season. The Panthers have given up the most rushing yards (1,196) and the most rushing TDs (13) to NFL DFS RBs this season.

Najee Harris, RB Pittsburgh Steelers - DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $7,100

With three straight games in which he rushed for at least 100 yards, Harris was on a roll leading up to his Week 9 bye. Those three games between Week 6 and Week 8 were his first 100 yard rushing games of the season and he also averaged 5.96 YPC during that time span.

He’ll have a good chance to pick up right where he left off in his matchup against the Washington Commanders in Week 10. The Commanders have been very kind to NFL DFS RBs this season, giving up the fifth most rushing yards (1035) and the fourth most rushing TDs (8) to the position so far this season.

NFL DFS RB Fades For Week 10

Christian McCaffrey, RB San Francisco 49ers - DraftKings: $8,000 | FanDuel: $9,400

If he is active in Week 10, McCaffrey is unquestionably a must start in season long leagues. However, with his high salary on the DraftKings and FanDuel platforms I’m hesitant to put him in my NFL DFS lineups.

The 49ers opened his 21-day practice window on Monday and while they’d like him to see game action against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, there’s no telling if he’ll be on a snap count or not. There’s even a chance that the 49ers might think it’s best to have him sit out on Sunday and get another full week of practice before they activate him.

Overall, there are too many questions about how much of a workload McCaffrey can handle in Week 10 and that isn’t reflected in his high end DFS salaries this week. I’m not ready to invest a huge chunk of my NFL DFS salary on McCaffrey just yet.

NFL Week 10 RB Play Of The Week

Saquon Barkley, RB Philadelphia Eagles - DraftKings: $8,300 | FanDuel: $9,600

Barkley is matchup proof and he’s got a good one against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. “America’s Team” has consistently been very friendly to NFL DFS RBs all season giving up 4.58 YPC and the second most rushing TDs (10) to the position.

The Eagles are running the ball more than any team in the NFL this season (54.58%) and with an NFL DFS RB like Barkley leading the way, why wouldn’t they?
