Titans vs. Bills Predictions For NFL Week 7, Sunday 10/20

The last time that we saw a matchup between these AFC squads was two seasons ago, which was an absolute beatdown with Buffalo bullying Tennessee to the tune of a 41-7 final score. They’re also the biggest favorites of the Week 7 slate, so oddsmakers are expecting more of the same.

Of course, there have been significant roster changes for both sides, so should we still expect a similar result? All indications are that we should, but where does the value lie in the betting markets? That’s what our Titans vs. Bills predictions are here to help answer.

Overall, look for a heavy dose of the ground game from Buffalo to get the job done while they keep Tennessee out of the endzone, perhaps even for the entire game!

Tennessee Titans: Time For A Change?

Don’t worry - we’ll get further into things with the best bet from our Titans vs. Bills picks, but first, let’s focus on the Tennessee side of the matchup. It’s safe to say that they have plenty of work to do following a home loss coming out of their bye week, dropping them to 1-4 on the year.

Perhaps a change of scenery will help, or better yet, perhaps a change at QB is necessary. Fans were already calling for it after Week 2 given QB Will Levis’ bonehead decision making, but alas, he’s been under center when healthy. It’s worth noting that Tennessee’s lone win came with backup QB Mason Rudolph under center due to a Levis injury.

Buffalo Bills: Bolstering The Roster

On the complete opposite side of the coin, the Bills looked like the absolute best team through the first few weeks of the season. That came to an end thanks to a 35-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, which led to back-to-back losses.

Of course, they were also the last team we saw on the Week 6 slate, which was them bouncing back with a win on Monday Night Football. Ironically enough, it came over the New York Jets, and these AFC East rivals bolstered their rosters within hours of each other.

Shortly after the Jets traded for WR Davante Adams, the Bills traded for WR Amari Cooper. This helps them continue filling the void left by WR Stefon Diggs to make a true Super Bowl run.

Titans vs. Bills Odds, Spreads, Total & Betting Lines

While we fully expect Buffalo to improve to 5-2, based on the Titans vs. Bills odds, that’s not where we see value. Instead, we’re going to focus on the total, but first, the latest lines at BetMGM Sportsbook:

Titans vs. Bills Predictions: Under 41.5 Points (-110 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

Before we fully dive into the best bet from our Titans vs. Bills predictions, the lines provided to us are not our favorite of the Week 7 slate. We have no problem admitting that, but if you’d like a different approach for your Titans vs. Bills picks, consider using Buffalo’s money line in a parlay of some sort.

With that out of the way, we’re still comfortable focusing on what has been significant line movement. After opening with a total of 47.5 points, it has since come down in a big way. So, while we’re not getting the best of the number, we don’t see Tennessee doing much of anything to contribute to this total.

The Titans have scored more than 17 points just once this season, which was their lone win. That came against a Miami Dolphins team that is absolutely decimated and almost looks defeated already at this point. As mentioned, that was also without Levis under center, who will indeed be back starting this Sunday.

While we’re sure that some fans will argue that adding Cooper should have Buffalo scoring more, we also didn’t see the total move whatsoever after the trade. Something we also mentioned is that the Bills should focus on the ground game.

For all of Tennessee’s struggles, their passing defense is elite. So much so, they allow the fewest passing yards per game in the entire NFL! So, increasing running means ticking the clock away, which ultimately translates into fewer possessions for points.

It may not be the most fun pick to root for, but the best bet from our Titans vs. Bills predictions is under 41.5 points (-110 at BetMGM Sportsbook).
