We’re in the final week of fantasy football playoffs everywhere and the regular season has just two weeks left but the injury report hasn’t let up a bit. Everywhere you turn there is a superstar fantasy player hurt and making his way to the injury report, thus rendering themselves OUT for the fantasy football championship matchups in Week 17. Some big names like Jalen Hurts, CeeDee Lamb, and Alvin Kamara have already been ruled out, but the likes of Tyreek Hill, Tua Tagovailoa, and Davante Adams still have an undetermined status. NFL Week 17 Injury Report: Quarterbacks

Jalen Hurts Injury Update - Concussion

The Philadelphia Eagles have ruled Jalen Hurts out for Week 17 due to a concussion. Kenny Pickett will start in his place.

Tua Tagovailoa Injury Update - Hip

Despite being listed as questionable for Week 17, Tua Tagovailoa is going to play through a hip injury. He was limited at practice throughout the entire week.

Anthony Richardson Injury Update - Back/Foot

Despite not practicing all week, Anthony Richardson has been listed as questionable heading into Week 17. It’s unlikely he plays as he’s dealing with multiple injuries and hasn’t practiced but the Colts are giving him a chance.

Derek Carr Injury Update - Hand

The Saints have officially ruled Derek Carr out for Week 17 with a hand injury. He did not practice all week. He’ll have one more week to potentially return to the field.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson Injury Update - Calf

Despite a calf injury suffered in Week 16, Dorian Thompson-Robinson is off of the injury report and will start the game for the Browns in Week 17.

 

 

NFL Week 17 Injury Report: Running Backs

Alvin Kamara Injury Update - Groin

It’s no surprise to see Alvin Kamara out here after the Saints came out and said the injury was worse than anticipated. Kamara hasn’t practiced since hurting his groin.

Chuba Hubbard Injury Update - Knee

After not practicing on Wednesday, star running back Chuba Hubbard was back at practice on both Thursday and Friday. Although he’s listed as questionable, Chuba Hubbard is expected to suit up and play.

James Conner Injury Update - Knee

It’s very surprising to see the Cardinals potentially having James Conner available to them in Week 17 but it’s trending in that direction. Per Mike Clay of ESPN, Arizona did not promote any running back from the practice squad.

Tyrone Tracy Injury Update - Ankle

The Giants have removed Tyrone Tracy from the injury report and he’ll head into Week 17 as the team’s lead back, per usual.

Tony Pollard Injury Update - Ankle

This Titans injury Report has been the same thing over and over, week after week. Tony Pollard doesn’t practice, is listed as questionable, and then plays. It’s been the same thing every week. This plan has worked for the Titans and t’s allowed Pollard to be as fresh as he possibly can be.

Isaac Guerendo Injury Update - Foot/Hamstring

Isaac Guerendo was able to get in a limited session of practice on Friday and the 49ers have said things are trending in the right direction for his availability in Week 17.

JK Dobbins Injury Update - Knee

The Chargers have activated JK Dobbins from injured reserve and he’s now in line to be the lead dog for the team in Week 17 with Gus Edwards out.

 

 

NFL Week 17 Injury Report: Wide Receivers

CeeDee Lamb Injury Update - Shoulder

CeeDee Lamb has officially played his last game of the year last week and will be shut down for the final two. He will not need surgery on his shoulder.

Tyreek Hill Injury Update - Wrist

Things sound pretty good for Tyreek Hill’s Week 17 status, but with their playoff fates on the line on Saturday, he could be shut down for the year by the time Sunday roles around. We’ll see, but head coach Mike McDaniel thought Hill had an excellent week of practice.

Malik Nabers Injury Update - Toe

Malik Nabers continues to battle through a bunch of different injuries, but his Week 17 ailment is a toe that he’s expected to play through.

Davante Adams Injury Update - Hip

After missing practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, Davante Adams returned on Friday. He’s going to play in Week 17 barring a setback despite being listed as questionable.

Terry McLaurin Injury Update - Ankle

Washington Commanders star receiver Terry McLaurin has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Commanders Week 17 game.

Drake London Injury Update - Knee

Head coach Raheem Morris was not lying when he said if last week’s game was close that Drake London would’ve returned to action. He’s completely off the injury report heading into Week 17.

Chris Olave Injury Update - Concussion

It has been a great week for Chris Olave as he’s been able to get back on the practice field in full capacity all three days. Despite that, he’s listed as questionable and will likely be a true game-time decision.
 

Jaylen Waddle Injury Update - Knee

Jaylen Waddle told the media he feels healthy and is happy that his knee injury isn’t as serious as maybe he initially thought. He’s still limited and listed as questionable heading into Week 17.

Christian Watson Injury Update - Knee

Despite not practicing at all this week, Christian Watson has not been ruled out and when asked if the door was still open for him to play, head coach Matt LaFleur said “still open.”

Tee Hggins Injury Update - Ankle/Knee

Tee Higgins is battling through multiple injuries in his legs but is trending towards playing. It’s been reported by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN that he’s improving and unless there’s a setback, he will suit up in Week 17.

Xavier Legette Injury Update - Hip/Wrist

In speaking with the media, head coach Dave Canales said Xavier Legette is going to return to action despite the fact he’s dealing with a hip and wrist injury.

Tyler Boyd Injury Update - Foot

Tyler Boyd was unable to practice all week but the Titans are not listing him out, they’re listing him as questionable. We could see Boyd play here despite zero practice.

Curtis Samuel Injury Update - Rib

After three straight limited sessions, the Bills are listing Curtis Samuel as questionable for Week 17. He’s definitely trending towards playing.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling Injury Update - Chest

The Saints are listing Marquez Valdes-Scantling as questionable for their Week 17 contest despite having him at practice all week, albeit in limited fashion. Being on the practice field is a trend in the right direction for MVS.

Alec Pierce Injury Update - Concussion

Alec Pierce has cleared concussion protocol and is going to play in Week 17 for the Colts.

Cedric Tillman Injury Update - Concussion

Despite returning to practice this week, Cedric Tillman will miss his fifth straight game with a concussion as he’s been unable to clear protocol. It’s possible we see him play in Week 18.

David Njoku Injury Update - Knee

David Njoku has been ruled out of the Browns’ Week 17 contest due to a knee injury.

Cade Otton Injury Update - Knee

Cade Otton has been ruled out of the Buccaneers Week 17 contest due to a knee injury.

Will Dissly Injury Update - Shoulder

After practicing on a limited basis this week, Will Dissly is poised to return in Week 17. He’s listed as questionable but is trending towards playing.
