One week before bye-ma-gedden, the NFL Week 13 Injury Report is as long as your black Friday Target shopping list. NFL Injury Report For Week 13: Fantasy Football Injuries
Let's dive into the NFL Injury Report Week 13 and see what adjustments we’re going to need for our fantasy football lineups.
NFL Week 13 Injury Report: Quarterbacks
Trevor Lawrence Injury Update - Shoulder
The reports are that Trevor Lawrence is likely going to need surgery on his left shoulder this offseason, but according to head coach Doug Pederson, Lawrence is expected to suit up in Week 13. Lawrence last played in Week 9.
Brock Purdy Injury Update - Shoulder
After practicing this week, albeit on a limited basis, Brock Purdy is expected to play per head coach Kyle Shanahan. Shanahan also noted a lot can happen from now until gametime, so although he’s optimistic he’ll play, he’s making sure that part is known.
NFL Week 13 Injury Report: Running Backs
Breece Hall Injury Update - Knee
After not practicing on Wednesday following a bye week, the whole world was panicking about Breece Hall’s availability. He said he tweaked his knee during the Colts game but all signs are pointing towards him suiting up.
Brian Robinson Injury Update - Ankle
After starting his work week off with limited practices on both Wednesday and Thursday, Brian Robinson practiced in full on Friday and has been fully removed from the injury report. He’s good to go for Week 13 and without Austin Ekeler in the lineup, Robinson is going to handle a massive workload.
Tyjae Spears Injury Update - Concussion
After returning to practice in full capacity on Thursday and Friday, things are trending towards Tyjae Spears being cleared for the Titans in Week 13. It’s worth noting at the current moment, he’s still in concussion protocol. He’s listed questionable and the expectation was he’d be cleared.
Austin Ekeler Injury Update - Concussion
After he was unable to get onto the practice field this week, the Washington Commanders have officially ruled Austin Ekeler out in Week 13.
Tank Bigsby Injury Update - Ankle
This isn’t much of a surprise after seeing him practice all week, but Tank Bigsby is completely off the injury report in time for the Jaguars Week 13 contest.
NFL Week 13 Injury Report: Wide Receivers
DK Metcalf Injury Update - Shoulder
After not practicing twice this week, it’s apparently all good in Seattle for their superstar wide receiver because DK Metcalf has been taken off the injury report. He’s good to go in Week 13.
Devonta Smith Injury Update - Hamstring
Devonta Smith was able to practice in each of the last two practice days for the Eagles and is listed questionable for Week 13. When he spoke with the media, he said he’s unsure if he can play but the decision is not up to him.
Darnell Mooney Injury Update - Achilles
After a full practice on Thursday, Darnell Mooney rested on Friday but is fully off the injury report for Week 13 and is good to go.
Keon Coleman Injury Update - Wrist
It’s very much up in the air at this point if Keon Coleman is going to play. He practiced this week but wore a red non-contact jersey and was limited. He’s a true game-time decision.
Josh Downs Injury Update - Shoulder
Josh Downs told reporters after Friday’s practice that is shoulder is fine despite being ruled out in Week 13. James Boyd (@RomeovilleKid) on X said Downs said he’s week-to-week.
Tyler Lockett Injury Update - Knee
Much like DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett didn’t practice twice this week and it didn’t matter. He’s off the Seahawks injury report and is ready to roll in Week 13.
Cedric Tillman Injury Update - Concussion
Despite not practicing on Friday, Cedric Tillman has not been ruled out in Week 13 because they don’t play until Monday night. We shouldn’t be surprised if Tillman ends up missing this one if he’s unable to practice on Saturday.
Noah Brown Injury Update - Knee
Noah Brown popped up on the Commanders injury report on Thursday with a knee injury but returned to practice on Friday and is off the injury report and ready to rock in Week 13.
NFL Week 13 Injury Report: Tight Ends
Dalton Kincaid Injury Update - Knee
The Bills have ruled Dalton Kincaid out for their Week 13 contest. He’ll have a chance to return against the Rams in Week 14.
Ja’Tavion Sanders Injury Update - Neck
Sanders was unable to practice this week after a scary injury to his neck knocked him out of the Panthers game in Week 12. The promising rookie tight end will have a chance to bounce back in Week 14.
Will Dissly Injury Update - Groin
Will Dissly was able to practice this week and will return to action in Week 13 as he’s completely removed from the injury report.
Player News
Dolphins signed No. 13 overall pick DT Kenneth Grant to a four-year contract.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Grant will sign his contract today. The former Michigan defensive tackle is expected to fill a major void left by Christian Wilkins, who left for the Raiders in the 2024 offseason. Grant totaled 32 tackles, three sacks, and seven TFLs in his final season at Michigan and excelled at stopping the run while also generating 27 pressures in his final season, per PFF.
Beat reporter John Hendrix reports that free agent WR Donovan Peoples-Jones is among the 16 players that the Saints will host for their rookie minicamp.
Peoples-Jones last played regular season snaps with the Lions back in 2023, when he caught 13-of-24 targets for 155 yards. He is highly unlikely to return to fantasy relevance at this point but could perhaps sign on as a special teams contributor.
Titans signed fourth-round pick WR Elic Ayomanor to a four-year contract.
Ayomanor will now begin learning behind Calvin Ridley. Although Ayomanor is unlikely to find a meaningful role in year one, dynasty managers should note his status as training camp gets underway this summer. The former Stanford receiver flashed big-play ability in his two college seasons.
Buccaneers signed seventh-round pick WR Tez Johnson to a four-year contract.
Johnson will serve as a rotational deep-threat option for Baker Mayfield. His thin frame (5'10/154) simply does not lend itself to the repeated hits one incurs in a full-time role. Johnson did earn 100-plus targets in his two seasons at Oregon, though. His big-play style make him a better fit in best ball for now, pending any major on-field breakthroughs.
Giants waived DT Casey Rogers.
Rogers was a 2024 undrafted free agent and logged 33 defensive snaps for the Giants in his rookie season. He is credited with zero tackles and/or sacks. He may find his way onto another roster as a practice squad option.
Vikings signed third-round pick WR Tai Felton to a four-year contract.
Felton is quietly in play to challenge Vikings No. 3 WR Jalen Nailor in training camp. Nailor (5'11/190) caught 28-of-42 targets for 414 yards and six touchdowns in his first season as a starter last year, with the latter category buoying his fantasy productivity. Felton (6'1/183), meanwhile, caught 96-of-143 targets for 1,119 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 2.32 yards per route run in his final college season. Fantasy managers should monitor Felton’s training camp reports this summer, as he could have a matchup-based WR5 role if everything falls into place.
