NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Saturday Playbook

So, it's not just that Luka Doncic is missing a lot of shots. He just doesn't look great physically. That said, Doncic has a 33.4% USG and has averaged 1.2 FP/min in a Lakers uniform and played 33 minutes last time out.

Without Brandon Miller and Tre Mann this year, LaMelo Ball has a 38.6% USG and averages 1.5 FP/min. Portland is 24th in DRtg and Ball playing 33 minutes out of the All-Star break is great to see.

The Lakers are going to have a tough time guarding Jamal Murray. I'm not sure they can. Murray's in top form, too, scoring 30+ points in three of four and 47+ DKP in those three. In those three games, Murray posted a 28% USG or better.

Simons' production is all over the place, but he has a really high ceiling at this price. He has a massive ceiling and a low floor. Can't trust him outside of tournaments.

Collier is super, super safe. The floor is really nice with how well he passes and how he's notched a bunch of assists. He's played 28+ minutes in 13 straight games and had 12 posting 27+ DKP. He has also gone for 40+ DKP, so there's a ceiling to boot. Outside of last night, Collier has primarily played through blowouts and in competitive games as well.

This is interesting. D'Angelo Russell is out and when he left the other day, Killian Hayes came in the game. He actually operated as the direct backup to begin with and with Simmons gone and Russell out, Hayes could actually start here. There's a chance he's extended in a blowout, too.

Green's just a high usage player that can score in bunches. That's what he did last night and what he's capable of doing against the 30th ranked defense in the league here. Green, without FVV this year, has a 29.4% USG and averages 1.06 FP/min.

In a 23-point loss yesterday, Keyonte George played 30 minutes and was in the closing lineup. With Jordan Clarkson out, nothing should change here except an even higher ceiling with the ball. Without Clarkson and Sexton, George has a 26.9% USG and is averaging 1.08 FP/min.

Camara's minutes are as secure as anyone elses, it's just the inconsistencies with his offense and overall production that gives me any pause. He'll be chasing around LaMelo Ball in this one.

All year, with all of these guys out, Keon Johnson has been a high usage player, the minutes are just inconsistent. In a game that D'Angelo Russell left, Johnson had a 35% USG.

His ability to stuff the stat sheet is his best attribute. He's elite defensively, great rebounder, is always at the rim, and can run the offense too. He also is live for 40 minutes a night.

One of the hardest players to figure out. He has played 28+ minutes in three straight and 34 in two of three. He's played 18 and 23 in the two games prior, so it's anyone's guess on where the minutes will land. That said, obviously has a ceiling and is a good FP/min when extended.

It's only an 80-minute sample, but without everyone injured or traded, Cam J averages 1.2 FP/min and has a 25.5% USG. This is a pretty good spot for Brooklyn as Philly's a bottom-10 defense in the league. I absolutely LOVE the DK price.

Williams has a wide range of outcomes. He's put up 24+ DKP in three of his last four games and twice, over his last five, he's scored less than 12. The Nets are short-handed with D'Angelo Russell here and Williams' number should be called upon.

It's a very small sample with Luka Doncic, but LeBron James' numbers do take a little bit of a hit with Luka on the floor. He only has a 28% USG and averages 1.2 FP/min. That said, he has a 33% AST rate and is a live triple-double threat. LBJ has 58+ DKP in back-to-back games and 55+ in five of seven.

I'm OK with Bridges here. He's been great, obviously, but the price is a tough sell for me, especially with LaMelo Ball back. With all the guys out for Charlotte, Bridges has a 29.7% USG and averages 1.26 FP/min.

Collins had a 31% USG and scored 26 actual points in a tough matchup yesterday against OKC and now has another tough matchup vs. HOU. Without Collin Sexton, Collins is a 25% USG and 1.1 FP/min player.

After not playing since January 1st, Jabari Smith Jr. played 38 (!!) minutes in his return. Smith could very well re-enter the starting lineup as we haven't seen Tari Eason play any back-to-backs in quite a while. Smith is a solid FP/min player and is only 5K in a great spot.

First game out of the All-Star break and Aaron Gordon played 32 minutes, the most in the entire month of February. The most he's played since December. Gordon is a solid FP/min player at .94 FP/min on the year. 

Jokic came out of the All-Star break and casually put up 71 DKP across 36 minutes. He fell one assist shy of a triple-double and at just 12.2K on DK, he's the best spend-up of the day. The Lakers have nothing for him defensively.

I'm not sure what to make of Embiid right now. He's clearly hobbled. He's nowhere close to 100%, but has still put up 50+ DKP in seven of nine overall. He's under 10K on DK, too. On the year, Embiid has a 36% USG and averages 1.46 FP/min.

This recent stretch is probably the best of Claxton's season and we're seeing him top 30 minutes in close games. He's put up 30+ DKP in four straight games and has two double-doubles over that span. He's really cheap on DK.

What's interesting is Donovan Clingan started the other day but Robert Williams played a robust 25 minutes, clearing Clingan pretty easily. If that's going to be the split, Williams is one of the best value plays of the slate.
