NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Monday Playbook

DK ONLY - This isn't hard. If Luka Doncic plays, he's as good as it gets. San Antonio is dead last in DRtg since Victor Wembanyama went down. Without LeBron James this year, Luka Doncic has a 42.5% USG and averages 1.86 FP/min.

There is a LOT to like here about Cade Cunningham. The Pelicans rank 30th in DRtg this year, they're now the worst defense in basketball, and Cunningham is ballin'. Without Ivey this year, Cunningham has a 34.4% USG and averages 1.47 FP/min.

Jalen Green is playing extremely well right now and without Amen Thompson, his role won't chance. Green, without Thompson this year, has a 27.6% USG and averages 1.05 FP/min. Philly is 26th in DRtg in the month of March.

DK ONLY - Without Wemby, Fox, Bassey, and the traded pieces, Stephon Castle has really, really good numbers. He sees a 3.6% USG bump up to a team-leading 28.9% and is averaging 1.08 FP/min. 

With Josh Giddey doubtful, we should see monster Tre Jones minutes again. He's been at 1.02 FP/min without Dosunmu, Giddey, Ball, and LaVine this year. Utah is 29th in DRtg this year and are on a back-to-back.

We've been down this road. It's likely that Kennard starts but Pippen comes off the bench. Pippen sits at 1.1 FP/min and a 20.9% USG this year and has a good matchup against the Kings ranking 23rd in DRtg.

Assuming Bradley Beal is out here, Devin Booker and company are in good spots. Booker has a 31% USG and 1.25 FP/min. Toronto has actually been quite good defensively in March and are 17th in DRtg this year.

Bane is solid here. The price is pretty steep, that's the one knock against him. He has a 24.5% USG and a 1.2 FP/min average without Morant and Aldama this year.

DK ONLY - Reaves looks great, man. No LBJ, AD, and DLo this year had led to Reaves magic. Reaves has a 8.9% USG bump up to 33% and is averaging 1.5 FP/min.

I'm a little indifferent about the price and the ownership. The minutes and matchup are great, obviously, but he's only a .77 FP/min player since joining the Bulls with the likes of Giddey & Ball off the floor.

Kennard is your clear leverage off of Scotty Pippen Jr. He's still sitting at 1 FP/min without Morant, Aldama, and Smart and right around 19% USG. SAC is 23rd in DRtg in March and he likely starts here.

Everything is trending towards the sky and beyond for Zion Williamson. He's been incredible. He's questionable for this game, but not with an injury. Without Ingram, Murray, and Jones this year, Williamson has a 34% USG and averages 1.6 FP/min.

Nobody is going to go to Butler here with the fantasy inconsistencies, but he has a really high ceiling and the FP/min stuff looks great. Without Brandin Podziemski this year, Butler sits at 1.2 FP/min and Stephen Curry is questionable too.

We're unsure about anything else except for Deandre Ayton being out. With only Ayton out, Avdija is a 23% USG and 1.14 FP/min guy. The price, matchup, and production are all plus.

DK ONLY - Vassell was seemingly going through a little rut but he has really turned the corner here. He's posted 30+ DKP in five of his last six games and has topped 35 in four of them. He's over a FP/min without all the pieces they're without this year.

DK ONLY - I'm a Keldon Johnson truther. Without all the pieces they're with, Johnson gets a solid 3.3% USG bump up to 24.5% USG and 1.1 FP/min. The minutes are up and down and this matchup isn't great, but the upside is there.

Since re-entering the starting lineup two games ago, Ryan Dunn has posted a 23.7% and 26.1% USG rates. IF Dunn can post these types of usage rate games, he's far too cheap because of how good he is defensively with the stocks.

Elite option with Bradley Beal out. Might prefer Devin Booker for a little cheaper, but they look awfully similar and might just ultimately play the lower owned of the two.

I'm ALWAYS all in on JJJ when Morant is out. JJJ has a 31.3% USG and 1.3 FP/min without Morant, Aldama, and Smart this year. This is a great spot, we just simply need him to stay out of foul trouble. We've been saying this for years.

Champagnie has played 30+ minutes in three straight and has looked great while out there. With all those that are out or traded, Champagnie averages 1.01 FP/min. He's posted 37+ DKP in two straight and the minutes aren't going away.

Tari Eason is an absolute dog. He has a very high ceiling and without Amen Thompson this season, he's averaged 1.2 FP/min. He remains a starter for Houston and is coming off a 30-point game. He's posted a 20% USG or better in six of seven games, 23% or higher in two straight.

DK ONLY - Another Spur that's hard to trust from a minutes aspect. He played 30 minutes last time out and twice over his last four he's been under 20, so what do we do with that information? He has posted 26+ DKP in three straight games. Good FP/min player.

Obi Toppin is the highest rostered player of the slate at the current moment in time. I don't think Toppin is going to start, but he'll be extended for sure. He's played 22+ minutes in two straight and he should sit in the mid-20s here without Siakam. He could also possibly play upwards of 30 because Indiana has three other starters listed as Q on the injury report.

The day has arrived. Nikola Jokic is $13K. If he plays, you can definitely spend up on him because he's very low owned. If he goes for 70+ DKP, you're in a good spot. The minutes from Jokic lately? He hasn't played less than 38 in the entire month of March.

Sabonis didn't close last game after two weeks off but was absolutely fantastic in his 30 minutes triple-doubling with four stocks. The minutes should only trend upwards and he faces a Memphis team that allows a lot of second chance points and we know how good Sabonis is on the glass.

There is only ONE team in the NBA that's worse at allowing points in the paint than the New Orleans Pelicans. Insert Jalen Duren who scores all of his points at the rim and he and Cade Cunningham are going to EAT in this spot. The Pelicans are also 30th in second chance points, which is something Duren thrives at too.

Kelly O is just very good in fantasy. He's at 1.04 FP/min this year and the minutes have been great as he's played 31 in back-to-back games. Solid GPP play and could be even better if Missi/Williamson sit.

Clingan's been extended without Ayton, Williams, and Walker, so lets see if all three are out again. He's an elite rebounder and shot blocker and if he can score the ball on a given night, he has an incredibly high ceiling.

The price is solid. The FP/min output is too. He's sitting at 1 FP/min and when he makes shots, he has a massive ceiling because the peripheral stats are so good and consistent.

I love Coby White here and how good he's looked recently. The matchup against the Jazz? Elite. The short-handed Bulls? Very. White gets a 5.4% USG bump up to 29.7% and he's averaging 1.2 FP/min as well. He has eight straight games of 20+ actual points and 37+ DKP in seven of them.
