NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Monday Playbook

This guy, man. No preseason. Dealing with a calf. 36 and 39 minutes in back-to-back games, has averaged 1.6 DKP/game, and has a 36% USG. This game has a massive implied total but Dallas is 11.5-point favorites.

We're three games into the season and Trae Young looks different than he has in a few seasons. Young has a 33.6% USG and 1.4 DKP/min average this year. Young has an elite matchup against the Wizards as they're fifth in pace and 30th in DRtg.

We've seen a massive ceiling and a GPP losing floor out of White through three games, but he's in a good spot here. This game has a 233.5 implied total with the two teams playing at the top two pace in the league. White has a 23.5% USG rate and 1.1 FP/min

I'm a little uncomfortable with the FanDuel price, but I'm in on DraftKings. This is an elite spot for Daniels because of how good he is peripherally. He's playing big minutes and the Hawks are pretty short-handed and playing a short rotation.

Which version of Suggs do we get because the minutes have been impossible to project. 13, 22, and 31 minutes in the three games. Sheesh. Suggs and the Magic are in a great spot if he's extended for 30 minutes again.

He's underpriced, simply put. He played a boatload in minutes in the second game of the year and that's how Dallas operates in competitive games. All Doncic and Irving all the time. He has an insanely high ceiling against a really bad defensive team.

Simply put; Zach LaVine just simply looks like himself again. His 35.6% USG rate leads the team, 22+ points, 36+ DKP, and peripherally he's been solid too. This is a matchup between the top two teams in pace and he has elite positional eligibility.

I think Jordan Poole is quite interesting in tournaments. He's been easily the Wizards' best starter from a FP/min standpoint notching 1.36 DKP/min. ATL is on the second night of a back-to-back and Poole looks good as the team's starting point-guard.

FD ONLY - This game is fun and we only get it on the main slate on FD but he's looked super good over his last two. We know he's a bucket and we're getting a good version of him right now as he sits at 28.9% USG. This is an uptempo spot as the Kings are 6th in pace.

The minutes have been great for Coulibaly as he continues to start for Washington. He only took two shots in the first game but put up 16 in his second, so that's GREAT to see. This matchup against Atlanta is a sigh of relief from Cleveland Boston. I like the price.

Boston has not skipped a beat through three games and Tatum is still underpriced on DK considering he's dropped 50+ DKP in all three games he's played in and two have been blowouts. Tatum has a 30% USG and is averaging 1.3 DKP/min this year.

If we're going to get 36+ minutes from Jimmy Butler in which he's locked in in a game against the HORNETS than we're in for a big Butler season. He had a 28% USG and was just two rebounds and assists shy of a triple-double. The Pistons rank 26th in DRtg.

Another Wizard? I know. I'm crazy, but if there was ever a spot, getting the Hawks on the second leg of a back-to-back was it. The Hawks are 25th in DRtg and 8th in pace. Kuzma has simply missed shots and been in blowouts. He should continue to shoot, have better success, and play a LOT more here.

You definitely don't like seeing Wagner get the mid-day downgrade that's for sure. Especially due to an illness. If he plays, however, he's the bees knees. He draws a struggling Pacers team on the second leg of a back-to-back and Wagner is ballin' right now. He's made over 40% of his threes and if take that leap, he's unstoppable on the offensive end.

I really think there's value to be hard with MPJ here. He's returned 5x value twice without really making any shots. He's the only true floor-spacer Denver has, too. Look for Porter's shot to fall and him have a big game here.

We haven't gotten that nuclear explosion from Giannis yet, but he's been incredibly solid. 51+ DKP in each game with a 59 DKP ceiling. Coming off two BAD losses in a row and now face the best team in the NBA. If it's close, Giannis is the primary reason why.

Don't give up on Jalen Johnson. That would be a massive mistake. He's tooooooo good to do so because of a few bad games. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Onyeka Okongwu are out and a matchup against Washington should cure all woes.

Amongst the five starters last game, only Victor Wembanyama had a higher usage rate than Jeremy Sochan and his 24.3% USG to start the year is very great to see. He's a good rebounder, can score, and can handle the ball away.

ADDED - De'Andre Hunter is OUT and Risacher is as must-start at his price around the industry.

I would love to simply plug and play Jovic but it's not as simple as that. He played 30 minutes last game but didn't close – Alec Burks did. He has a really solid skillset and can put up fantasy points fast, but isn't near the top of the food chain in terms of scoring on that team. I like 4.4K against a bad Pistons defense if we get 30 minutes again.

FD ONLY - He has elite upside in tournaments because of his ability to put the ball in the basket. He's scored 28 and 34 actual points in back to back games and has put up at least 48 FDP in those outings. Portland are big underdogs here, but if they're competitive in this game it's because Grant.

Nobody is really going to play Jokic today, huh. That's intreresting because he's put up 60+ DKP in each game, has already scored 40 in a game and in game one, he had 26 potential assists and only had 13 assists. If his teammates make shots, he's going to have another 20-20-20 game soon.

FD ONLY - He's been extremely consistent thus far through three games and still just 6K on FD. He's topped 30 FD twice in three games and has scored 18 actual twice as well. He's solid lineup filler.

FD ONLY - Anthony Davis is smashing everything in sight. His opponents have stood no chance. He's played 37+ minutes, scored 31+ points, and 57+ DKP. He has a team-leading 31% USG and averages 1.66 FD/min.

FD ONLY - The fact you can play him at PF and C is crazy and he's coming off a 60 bomb thanks to his first triple-double of the year. That's what Sabonis is capable of, even with DeMar DeRozan being added to the mix.

He's matched up with Nikola Jokic which might not end well, but he's the biggest and best body the Raptors have to match Jokic's size. If this game is competitive and he stays out of foul trouble, there's 40+ FP upside at low ownership.

Carter's been dominating on the glass this year averaging 18 potential boards and 11.3 RPG. He just hasn't had much shot volume and we've known that's been part of his game for a while; until this year. Solid pivot off Capela.

Chalk city tonight now that Onyeka Okongwu has been ruled out. It's likely that Capela isn't just run out there for 40 minutes and Larry Nance Jr. is dusted off and possibly Jalen Johnson is used at the five as well. BUT, Capela is good chalk. Since the start of last year, he's a 1.2 FP/min player.

ADDED - With Ja Morant out, Scotty Pippen is going to have a massive role tonight. With John Konchar also out, we should see Marcus Smart operate as the backup point-guard tonight, but all eyes on Pippen.

ADDED - Bane has a 29% USG without Ja Morant this year and with Jaren Jackson still limited, Bane should be the go-to offensive option for Memphis like we saw a lot last season.
