NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Friday Playbook

It's hard to pass on LaMelo Ball when he's playing 39 and 40 minutes nightly. He's scored 52+ DKP in three straight and has flashed a 66 FP over that span. If Brandon Miller sits, without Miller and Tre Mann this year, Ball has a 41% USG (+3.3%) and averages 1.57 FP/min.

I mean, man, the guy is just great. He averaged 17 potential assists in November when Hartenstein and Holmgren were out and it was on display yesterday. He dished out eight assists along with his 40 piece. His ceiling is infinite.

Without Brandon Ingram, Herbert Jones, and Elfrid Payton off the floor this year, Murray has a 28.6% USG and averages 1.2 FP/min. All it's taken for Murray's ceiling to show was made shots, which he wasn't doing earlier in the year. Utah is 29th in DRtg.

In his return, Keyonte George played 31 minutes and had a monster outing. He took 22 shots, scored 46 DKP and had a robust 35.8% USG. Collin Sexton is back, but the minutes and opportunities are going to be there. The Pelicans are 27th in DRtg.

The numbers without Donte DiVincenzo actually fall off slightly but his USG is still 31% and he averages 1.1 FP/min. Edwards heading to Madison Square Garden where stars love to be stars.

With Donte DiVincenzo out, Mike Conley could be extended here. Will he start? It's the most logical thing, but it's between he and NAW. He's solid at 3.5K overall.

Trey Murphy just completely continues to be awesome at basketball. Murphy has scored 22+ points in four straight and 43+ DKP in all four and 50+ in back-to-back. Murphy's had a 25% USG in all four and two of them were with Zion Williamson.

Lu Dort has a ceiling when his shot is falling, which we saw on Thursday. The last six games we've seen Lu Dort play at least 30 minutes – which I'm expecting in a competitive game – he's gone 5x or better.

We have no data with Donte DiVincenzo being out because he's played every game, but Mike Conley sat four games this year and NAW played 26+ minutes in all four. The TWolves really don't bring anyone into their trust circle of rotation, so even if someone like Rob Dillingham plays, NAW will play more. He's soooo cheap.

It. Doesn't. Matter. Who. Plays. Josh. Hart. Is. In. Play. He has a double or triple-double in 12 of his last 13 games and during this span, he's put up 50+ DKP in three games and two of them were 60-plus. We'll see what happens with KAT, but Hart's over 1 FP regardless. 

Without Immanuel Quickley this year, Barrett leads the team with a 29.8% USG and averages 1.28 FP/min, which is the same as Scottie Barnes. The Bucks have moved into the top-10 in terms of defense for what it's worth.

There's nothing Brice Sensabaugh hasn't done offensively lately no matter who's been in or out. He's posted a 29.8% USG or better in four straight and has topped 30.8% in three of them. The Jazz are missing a LOT as Markkanen, Collins, Kessler, Clarkson, Juzang, and Porter are all out. He'll come off the bench and play high-20s minutes.

I mean, it's a thin position with value and McDaniels is one of the few guys at this tier that plays 30+ minutes. McDaniels is a smidge under .8 FP/min without DDV. Solid last piece in.

Toronto is terrible defensively. They don't have anyone that can present a real issue for Giannis Antetokounmpo, like most. Giannis has gone for 70+ in two of his last four.

Jalen Williams is very good at basketball and he has smashed essentially every game without Hartenstein and Holmgren this year. 44.5, 51, 62, 36, 45, and 58. Those are the six games he's played without both this year. Without the two bigs, he averages 1.34 FP/min and a 28.2% USG.

I like Bridges (on the court) even if Brandon Miller plays, but if Miller sits, I love Bridges (on the court). Bridges has a +2.2% USG bump up to 28.1% USG and averages 1.16 FP/min

This guy hasn't missed since the New Year. Over his last six games, he has averaged 15.5 points, 31.5 DKP, and 51% from the field and 47% 3PT. Reid's really safe here.

Theorizing the Jazz's starting lineup, Kyle Filipowski is likely going to start at PF. With who's out, Filipowski sits at .92 FP/min and can do a lot of different things on the floor. He's a very good price and very popular.

WHY are we doing this, DK? Sub $12K? Man oh man. Hard time not playing that even with a barking elbow.

Hard to ignore a sub-10K player that has a 27.8% and averages 1.5 FP/min. He smashed MIN the last time they played and we know what the minutes will look like in a close game.

The price hasn't moved one bit despite how good he's been lately. Before the Nuggets game, Porzingis said he hadn't felt more like himself than he did in that game and has now gone on a run putting up 39+ DKP in four straight.

I have no idea what to think about WCJr playing 33 minutes in a 29-point loss after starting the game. That being said, without the Wagner's, Suggs, and Bitadze, Carter's a very solid .99 FP/min player. 

We saw Eubanks start two games ago against Brooklyn, and he played 31 (5 mins of OT) and put up a very solid 27 DKP. He's actually over 1 FP/min (1.08) without Collins, Clarkson, Markkanen, and Kessler.

FD ONLY - There's just nothing like Wemby on FD. He had 13-12-2 and had 59 FDP. Think about that. Because he had eight blocks and two steals and that's 33 (!!!!!!) points in stocks. I'd assume he's going to be better offensively, too.

FD ONLY - AD has been great since returning from his one-game absence putting up 52+ DKP in four of five games and three of them he's topped 58+ DKP. Brooklyn is very bad defensively and this game could blow out.

FD ONLY - It never feels like Devin Vassell is quite expensive enough. There's always value to the Spurs second star. He's looked really good in back-to-back games and has 32+ FDP in four of five.

FD ONLY - Castle has REALLY come into his own lately and has been dominating usage of late. He's posted a USG of 25% or greater in five straight games, including a 33.1% clip last time out. He's going to be extremely popular on FD but is a building block of the slate with Jeremy Sochan out.

FD ONLY - Instead of extending someone off the bench, the Lakers chose to give Max Christie max minutes with Dorian Finney-Smith out and DFS is out again today. He's not an elite FP/min guy, but he's going to play big minutes and is a solid floor spacer at 36% from three.
