We have a nice seven-game slate on tap tonight with some very good teams to target. We have multiple teams with a 3.8 implied team total and some discount players worth targeting.

NHL DFS Picks & Daily Fantasy Playbook Today, October 29th

There are also some elite players in very good matchups, but we can’t afford them all. Let’s take a look at which players we should be looking to target and get the best bang for your buck.

NHL Pick 'Em At Sleeper Today

Before we get into DFS, let’s make some pick’em picks for the night over on Underdog. There are lots of ways we try to fill your wallet over here at Fantasy Alarm and this is just another option.

Sleeper NHL Picks, Tuesday, October 29th:

The Anaheim Ducks are giving up a ton of shots and the New York Islanders are top-5 in shots per game. Noah Dobson should be able to feast on scoring chances in this game.

The Montreal Canadiens don’t defend very well and give up a healthy number of shots per game. Jared McCann isn’t a volume shooter, but he’s going to get a few good looks tonight.

The Flyers are allowing 4.44 goals per game. They have started three different goalies in nine games. David Pastrnak is an elite sniper and is more than capable of finding the back of the net.

NHL DFS Lineup Picks Today, 10/29

Goalie Of The Day: Sam Montembeault - NJD

Sam Montembeault may not be the best goalie option on this slate, but he certainly provides a ton of value. Montreal is giving up 33 shots per game-- which isn’t ideal-- but Seattle is just not a great goal-scoring team. He’s got a great chance of hitting value if he can get some goal support and some defensive help.

Play Of The Day: Kirill Kaprizov - MIN

Kirill Kaprizov has 15 points in eight games this season with 11 of them coming on the road. To be fair, Minnesota has played just two games on home ice, but still, he’s producing. He’s expensive but very capable of hitting value.

Value Play Of The Day: Nick Suzuki- MTL

This might not feel like a value play but there is no reason for Nick Suzuki to be $5900 on DraftKings tonight. He has 11 points on the season with eight of them coming in the last five games.

He’s racking up points and his good buddy Juraj Slafkovsky should be making his return to the lineup. The centre crop is very weak tonight, so no reason to pay up for any of the elite players when you can get Suzuki at this discount.

Stack Of The Day - OTT PP1 (Brady Tkachuk - Drake Batherson - Jake Sanderson)

The Ottawa Senators have the second-best power play in the league (40%) and have a date with a mediocre St. Louis Blues

You can stack any combination of the top power play, but Tkachuk/Batherson/Sanderson is the best value. I expect them to all find the scoresheet by the night's end.
