Best NFL Week 10 Player Prop Picks
With half of the season officially behind us, teams are quite established in terms of what they do well and where they can be exploited. Of course, those are major factors in making NFL Week 10 player prop picks.
For example, consider a strong rushing day from the New York Giants in Germany against a Carolina Panthers defense that hasn’t been able to step anyone on the ground. That’s a great matchup for sure, but even that didn’t make the cut for our best NFL Week 10 player props! Speaking of which, let’s dive into the two spots we love the most.
Vikings vs. Jaguars Player Props: Aaron Jones Over 17.5 Receiving Yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
Although it’s not the aforementioned Giants vs. Panthers matchup, we’re still going to get started with an RB. However, it’s an RB NFL Week 10 player props pick through the air. These are rather unique spots, but it’s a great one for Vikings RB Aaron Jones.
The former Green Bay Packer has played extremely well for his former division rival, and frankly, we’re shocked to see this line at 17.5 yards. That’s because Jones has hit over this mark in every single game since Week 2, and that’s even with getting knocked out of a game early.
While it was just 18 receiving yards this past Sunday, he’s had multiple games with 46 receiving yards and four of them with 36 or more. We expect one of those games given this amazing matchup.
There are so many ways to break down how and why the Jacksonville pass defense is terrible, beginning with the fact that they allow the second-most passing yards per game and have allowed the absolute most passing touchdowns. So, why aren’t we focused on Minnesota QB Sam Darnold and WR Justin Jefferson?
Well, their lines have been inflated given those facts about the Jags, but things haven’t been adjusted for RBs in the passing game. Jacksonville has also allowed 441 receiving yards to RBs, which is the third-most in the NFL.
Along with how well the Vikings RB has done, the first of our NFL Week 10 player prop picks is Aaron Jones over 17.5 receiving yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook).
49ers vs. Buccaneers Player Prop Bets: George Kittle Over 55.5 Receiving Yards (-120 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
We’ve got a bit of a theme for our NFL Week 10 player props, as we’re sticking with receiving yards for both plays. However, this time, we’re targeting a TE instead. That would be the great one in San Francisco with the 49ers’ George Kittle.
It’s been a rough year for TEs in general outside of National Tight End’s Day, but Kittle has remained consistent. He’s coming off a 128-yard performance with a touchdown, and like our surprise with the Jones’ line, we’re just as surprised with this one.
Kittle has hit over this mark in four straight games now and has done so in every game this season outside of one. He’s also had at least six targets in the past four games, and the 49ers are now expected to get superstar RB Christian McCaffrey back.
While he may be on a pitch count, it will still cause defenses to emphasize CMC and perhaps even stack the box. That means more space for Kittle to operate, and he clearly has great chemistry with QB Brock Purdy.
On top of all that, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been abysmal against the position this year. They’ve allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to TEs this year and the second-most yards to them as well. As if all that wasn’t enough, the last time Kittle faced the Bucs, he went off for eight catches on nine targets for 89 yards and a touchdown.
With all that in mind, we’re adding to our NFL Week 10 player prop picks with George Kittle over 55.5 receiving yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook).
