The NFL loves its doubleheaders so for the second week in a row, we get two games on Monday night which means two more chances to build that bankroll with our NFL best bets for Titans vs. Dolphins MNF.

For the first game, kicking off at 7:30pm ET, we have the Tennessee Titans visiting the Miami Dolphins and we are ready to start diving into our NFL predictions. Be sure to check in with the latest Vegas odds & lines to track any potential movement. We saw things move significantly on Thursday night and given the quarterback situation in Miami, we may see some more leading up to game-time.

We’ll track the latest NFL news and NFL injury reports as we dive in but before we make our NFL picks and finalize our NFL best bets for Titans vs. Dolphins MNF, let’s look at some historical data for this AFC match-up in Miami.

NFL Picks, Predictions & Best Bets For Monday Night Football, 9/30

Funny enough, the Titans have won their last two meetings against the Dolphins and those two games have come over the last two seasons. However, this is a much different Titans team, from the coaching to no Derrick Henry, so the match-up here needs to be taken more at face value than looking into the data.

Of course, with the change to Tyler Huntley at quarterback for the Dolphins, they too are a much different team. Looking at the data for 2024 and how it affects our NFL picks and NFL predictions, the Titans are not only 0-3 straight-up, but 0-3 against the spread as well.

The Dolphins, who are 1-2 straight-up, are also 0-3 against the spread this season, but the injury to Tua Tagovailoa definitely gives them more of a pass. I’m not so sure recent data or any of the data tells us one way or the other, so before we settle our NFL best bets for Titans vs. Dolphins MNF, let’s look at some game-flow possibilities.

Monday Night Football Prediction: Monday, September 30th

The game-plan for the Dolphins is likely the one that trips people up in their analysis as they are making their NFL predictions. You know that Mike McDaniel likes to use the run to set up the pass, but not only are they dealing with Raheem Mostert as a game-time decision, but the Titans’ defensive numbers have been slightly skewed following their loss to the Packers.

They did well to contain Breece Hall and the Bears running backs didn’t do much against them either. Now this is a much better rushing attack with Miami, so the question is, can they get the running game going enough to open things up and take some of the pressure off Huntley?

If the Dolphins are successful on the ground, I grow more bullish on their passing game. Huntley isn’t the be-all, end-all, but he’s got a strong arm, can extend plays with his legs and can get Tyreek Hill enough time to find the open spaces in coverage. Huntley is going to need to be a game manager and get the ball into the hands of his playmakers. If he can, the match-up becomes a little more favorable.

On the other side, the Titans really need to fix this offense. First and foremost, let’s hope Bruan Callahan has been forceful about the team curfew. The last thing you want is a team in need of discipline all coming down with a case of the Miami Flu because they’re out all night. Even with the start on Monday, it is always a concern.

A big key for the Titans will be to get Tony Pollard going in this match-up. The Dolphins are only allowing an average of 112 rushing yards per game, but they rank 31st against the rush according to DVOA and they’ve already allowed five rushing touchdowns on the year. Establishing the run will be paramount to their success as the recent play of Will Levis has been lacking.

The Fins don’t have a great pass defense, even with Jalen Ramsey out there, and Levis will need to have play-action to open things up for him. The stage is set. We know the strengths and potential shortcomings for the Dolphins. The wild card is Tennessee. Let’s set up our NFL picks and finalize our NFL best bets for Titans vs. Dolphins MNF.

Titans vs. Dolphins Best Bet: Monday, September 30th

After going through the game flow and expectations for these two teams, the lean is heading towards the home team side. Under Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins are 18-5 straight-up and 14-9 against the spread.

There are just too many question marks surrounding the Titans and while they have hope on the horizon, we’re going to fade the public money and back the home team for our NFL best bets for Titans vs. Dolphins MNF.

We have two teams with a lot of question marks, yet we have explosive players like Tyreek Hill, De’Von Achane and even Calvin Ridley

The game total of 37 is pretty low, but given the performance of both quarterbacks, it’s totally understandable. The under is 3-0 in Dolphins games and 2-1 in Titans games. We’re going to let the trend be our friend.
