Loserball Fantasy Scoring: May The Worst Team Win!
The weekly winner of the #FAmily has been receiving an NFL jersey of choice, so let’s make sure you have the basics locked in. That all starts with the Loserball scoring system, where we get to root for everything from points allowed to watching QBs run out of the back of the endzone with safeties allowed.
There’s been more of those than ever it seems this season, so -250 points is never off the table! Of course, we always love a famous butt fumble or this year, Will Levis lame duck lob for a pick six. So, if needed, get set up for Week 5 by checking out with the Loserball scoring system!
NFL Week 5 Handicaps: Loserball Fantasy Football
Simply targeting the terrific turnovers of the Tennessee Titans makes Loserball super easy, right? Not so fast. We can’t just let fans pick the Panthers for laughable lapses every week. That’s why our experts have calculated handicaps for each team on a weekly basis.
These handicap values balance out the blunders based on just how much we expect a team to flop. So, a team with a low handicap of 5 should unfortunately avoid many mistakes, while a team with a handicap of 100 is expected to flounder all over the field. As for this week’s action, you can see the Week 5 Loserball handicaps here!
Some of the notable handicaps challenging your Week 5 selections include:
- After a fantastic 0-3 start to the season, the Cincinnati Bengals finally grabbed their first win of the year last Sunday. However, that came against the Panthers, and they now face a division rival in the Baltimore Ravens that just blasted the Buffalo Bills in prime time. So, a handicap of 67 for a Bengals team that has racked up -965 points (seventh-most) on the year is extremely intriguing!
- We also have our eyes on those aforementioned Bills. Their blunders have earned them the right to boast a -923 season score, just one spot behind the Bungles. They have a handicap of just 39 on the road against a 3-1 Houston Texans team that can torch a secondary that lost nearly all its members from last year.
- Lastly, another handicap that caught our attention is one that we’d suggest avoiding. The Washington Commanders have taken charge of the NFC East and have racked up just -360 total points this season! Teams eclipse that on the weekly, and now they face a 1-3 Cleveland Browns team at home. Until rookie QB Jayden Daniels shows the stereotypical growing pains, the Commanders are off our radar.
