Fred VanVleet (ankle) and Dillon Brooks (groin) have been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
VanVleet and Brooks are set to miss their second straight meetings with the Clippers. Reed Sheppard and Jeff Green will likely be among the players called upon to notch spot starts against Los Angeles ahead of the weekend.
Keegan Murray (back) is available for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
Murray is back after missing three games with a back injury. The Kings forward should bump Trey Lyles back to the bench against the Clippers.
Jasson Dominguez is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Giants.
Dominguez will be on the bench to begin Friday’s contest against Robby Ray and the Giants. Cody Bellinger will move over to left field, and Trent Grisham will get the start in center.
Alperen Sengun (personal) and Amen Thompson (rest) have been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Lakers.
Sengun and Thompson both missed the Rockets’ last game. The Rockets have added more names to their injury report since then, though. Cam Whitmore has a chance to start and carry a heavy workload on Friday.
Cade Cunningham (knee) is probable for Friday’s game against the Bucks.
Cunningham has been impressive since he returned from the calf injury he suffered last month. It appears like he’s healthy enough to play through his discomfort on Friday, so fantasy managers should expect star-level production.
Royals recalled RHP Steven Cruz from Triple-A Omaha.
Cruz will take the roster spot of Hunter Harvey, with Harvey out of commision due to teres sprain. Cruz was effective in his limited action with a 0.00 ERA with the Royals in 2024, but he likely won’t be a high-leverage reliever for the Royals in this stint.
