NFL Week 6 DFS Contrarian Picks: Jayden Daniels, Stefon Diggs & More
Cashing in a GPP tournament can be a difficult thing. Even in a single-entry contest, the fields are large, and your odds of winning are long. That’s why it is important to have strong NFL DFS contrarian picks to differentiate yourself from the rest of the herd.
Remember, finding the right NFL DFS contrarian picks has less to do with the price tag as it does ownership. It’s a common mistake and you see it in a lot of the lineups built by both amateurs and lineup optimizers.
Finding a super-cheap play that no one is on is great, but typically, the masses have already been turned on to some of the DFS bargains who are expected to pop. Josh Downs? Love him as a bargain, but he’s going to be pretty chalky.
Last week, the big contrarian move was Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. His ownership percentages were low, as were the percentages of Tee Higgins, and those who used them both were atop the standings throughout the week.
Again, it’s not about cost. It’s about ownership. You were able to use some of the chalk, like a low-priced Tucker Kraft and Chuba Hubbard, but having Burrow and Higgins at less than seven-percent ownership, even at their prices, was huge.
