Best NFL Sunday Night Football Player Prop Picks

Given that these teams met just last season, and both made it to the playoffs, we can certainly look back on that matchup to help with NFL SNF player prop picks for this weekend. Of course, there is still one glaring difference for the upcoming matchup - Philly RB Saquon Barkley.

He has been every bit the addition that the City of Brotherly Love was expecting, eclipsing 100 scrimmage yards virtually in his sleep week after week. As for LA, they have largely the same core, and when they took on the Eagles last season, it was in the midst of then-rookie WR Puka Nacua’s surge into the league.

There are so many dynamic weapons on both sides of the NFC showdown, so let’s get into our best NFL SNF player prop picks.

Eagles vs. Rams Player Props: Jalen Hurts Over 9.5 Carries (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

The Week 11 Sunday Night Football game was fantastic for us in terms of our NFL SNF player prop picks, as Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow easily went over 8.5 rushing yards (28) and JK Dobbins found the endzone (twice).

So, we’re going to start our Eagles vs. Rams player props in similar fashion. That is in terms of targeting a QB rushing prop, but not quite the exact same one. Rather than yardage, we’re going to focus on carries for Philly QB Jalen Hurts.

While most fans would be eyeing his rushing touchdown prop given the success of the tush push again, the Rams actually haven’t allowed a QB rushing touchdown all season! Now, Hurts very well may break that streak, but we still see value in this market, as Barkley’s success has also caused this line to be lower than it otherwise would be.

Even with how well Barkley has been running the ball, Hurts has now had double-digit carries in three of the past four games. So, even though Barkley wasn’t involved when these teams met last season and Hurts had 15 carries, there is still reason to expect more of the same.

Therefore, we’re going to begin our NFL SNF player prop picks with Jalen Hurts over 9.5 carries (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook).

Eagles vs. Rams Player Prop Bets: Matthew Stafford Under 245.5 Passing Yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook)

We noted that Nacua was able to have a strong game against the Eagles last season, which was a 71-yard performance along with a touchdown. On top of that, Rams WR Cooper Kupp had 118 yards himself.

So, surely we have to target a passing prop, right? Well, Philly’s secondary has completely turned things around. After allowing the second-most passing yards per game last year, they’re now allowing the second-fewest! Not only that, but they’re also allowing fewer than 100 rushing yards per game, and have allowed just seven rushing touchdowns all season.

As you can see, their defense has stepped up in a big way, and after a great passing game last Sunday to create a bit of an inflated prop, this is a great opportunity to target an under for Rams QB Matthew Stafford. We also wouldn’t fault you for adding him to throw an interception to your NFL SNF player prop picks.

However, Philly actually has just seven interceptions all season, but what they have been doing is keeping QBs well under their passing props. In their last six games, they’ve allowed opposing QBs to throw for 191, 45, 168, 234, 99 and 168 yards! Now, that has absolutely not been the best competition, but that does include a matchup with the NFL leader in passing yards - the aforementioned Burrow of the Bengals.

Along with Stafford having just 222 yards against Philly’s poor pass defense of last season, now facing a great one, we’re taking Matthew Stafford under 245.5 passing yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook) as part of our NFL SNF player prop picks.
