NBA DFS Showdown CPT/MVP Top Plays
Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks
This is the most rest Doncic has had in between games all series long and is coming off the BEST game of his series thus far. He’s coming off back-to-back triple-doubles and has 52+ DKP in five of the six games this series.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder
Not even Luka Doncic has been as consistent as Gilgeous-Alexander this series, yet he and his team finds themselves down 3-2. SGA is going to play 40+ minutes, take 20+ shots, and be involved in every statistical category.
P.J. Washington, Dallas Mavericks
In a game in which Washington struggled shooting, not something we’ve said a lot, he managed to double-double and get us over 30 DKP. At this price, and with how well he’s played, he makes sense at captain to help us get to Doncic and Gilgeous-Alexander.
NBA DFS Showdown UTIL Top Plays
Jalen Williams, Oklahoma City Thunder
This has been a letdown series for Williams as he’s shooting just 40% from the floor and 31% from three while averaging just 16 PPG. All WAY lower than his regular season averages. Williams is going to play somewhere around or north of 40 minutes.
Chet Holmgren, Oklahoma City Thunder
The shot volume for Holmgren is concerning, but we know how talented he is when he has it going. They NEED someone other than SGA to have a big game, and Holmgren is one of two options they need to dominate. He has elite defensive numbers this series, but the points need to follow suit.
Luguentz Dort, Oklahoma City Thunder
He actually stayed out of foul trouble in Game 5a nd was good from a fantasy perspective putting up 30 DKP. He’s a last piece in, but averaging 24 DKP/game this series is solid at his price.
NBA DFS Showdown Value Top Plays
Dereck Lively II, Dallas Mavericks
After a slow start to the series, Lively has been a difference maker in the past three contests. He’s put up 23+ DKP and is a sneaky CPT play if you want Doncic, Gilgeous-Alexander, and another spend-up as well.
Derrick Jones Jr., Dallas Mavericks
There’s a bunch at play here. Jones Jr. hasn’t missed a shot in two games but his minutes are down. If he’s not playing 30+ minutes, can we continue to rely on all of these made shots? Does he do enough elsewhere to pay off his salary if his shot isn’t falling and his minutes continue to be just OK? I’m not too sure.
