NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Saturday Playbook

Cade had a rare off night against Denver last game, but he gets a good bounce back spot against a shorthanded Nets team tonight. He has as high of a ceiling as anyone one on the slate outside of Giannis. 

Kyrie has been exceptional since the Luka Doncic trade, scoring at least 47 fantasy points in five of his last six games. He gets an up-tempo matchup against a Bucks team that ranks 8th in pace and could possibly be without PJ Washington (questionable). 

Curry absolutely nuked in his last game, scoring 56 points on an incredible 12-of-19 from three-point range. He is in another great spot tonight against a Sixers squad that ranks 25th in DRtg and recently received news they will be without Joel Embiid for the remainder of the season. 

Lillard ran off four-straight 50+ fantasy point performances earlier this month, demonstrating his immense ceiling. He has cooled off a bit recently, but he gets a matchup tonight against a shorthanded Dallas team. 

Memphis has the highest implied team total on the slate in a matchup of two teams that rank top-10 in pace. Ja didn't quite pay off his salary last night, but I am going right back to him. The ceiling games are coming, and I want to be ahead of the field when it happens. 

Hayes has played at least 30 minutes and scored at least 31 fantasy points in each of his last two games. Cam Thomas is out again after returning last night and D'Angelo Russell remains out, so there is plenty of usage to go around for the active Nets. 

Fox has fallen into a shooting slump, making just 25% of his attempts from the field over his last three games. He is in the top game environment of the night and is a great bounce back candidate. 

Bane played through a questionable tag last night, logging 35 minutes and scoring 45 fantasy points. He is listed questionable on the injury report again, but he is a great option if he suits up. Memphis leads the slate with an implied team total of over 126 points. 

Green always has a high ceiling due to his ability to score the basketball. He gets a good matchup against a Kings team that has struggled defensively since swapping out De'Aaron Fox for Zach LaVine. 

Podz has played well since his return from injury, often flashing a ceiling of 40 fantasy points. He get a great matchup against a Sixers team that ranks just 25th in DRtg and will be without Joel Embiid for the rest of the season. 

Cam Thomas is out again after returning last night and D'Angelo Russell remains out, so there is plenty of usage to go around for the active Nets. Johnson owns a 24.2% usage rate with those two players and the players moved at the deadline off the court this season. 

The Pistons saw their eight-game win streak come to an end last night, but Beasley has been playing great basketball and was a big part of that run. He has averaged over 20 points per game over his last nine games. 

Thompson has retained his starting role even with the return of Jabari Smith. He is coming off a ceiling performance against Spurs and gets another good matchup against the Kings tonight. 

Butler is questionable with back spasms on the injury report and has been abysmal in his last two games. With that said, he is also just $7,400 on DK and gets a great matchup against the Sixers 25th-ranked defense. 

DeRozan is a low-owned GPP play with a tough matchup in Houston. He does have considerable upside if things go well for him, and he did excel in has last difficult matchup with 34 points against Golden State. 

Oubre has been playing huge minutes contributing in stat categories other than points (mainly rebounds). He gets a tough matchup against Golden State, but he is a tick too cheap for his massive role. 

Thompson has been filling up the stat sheet and has at least three steals in four consecutive games. Brooklyn has given up the 5th-most steals per game this season, and they will be without two primary ball handlers in D'Angelo Russell and Cam Thomas. 

Giannis has played over 30 minutes in three straight games and posted 65 fantasy points last game against the Nuggets. Dallas remains extremely thin in the frontcourt with all of Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford, and Derek Lively still out. Giannis should be able to get whatever he wants in the paint. 

JJJ did a better job of avoiding foul trouble last game against the Knicks and he ended up playing 33 minutes. He has a very high ceiling if he can stay on the court for that long. 

Last game against the Knicks, Paul George posted 50 fantasy points for the first time in over a month. He is too cheap if he can consistently find that type of form. We have seen it throughout his long and successful career, so it certainly within his range of outcomes. 

Washington sat last game and is questionable on the injury report again today. The game prior to that, he scored 28 fantasy points despite shooting 0-for-9 from the floor and scoring ZERO actual points. If he is able to play, he should have a massive role for the shorthanded Mavs. 

Cam Thomas is out again after returning last night, and D'Angelo Russell remains out. There is plenty of usage to go around for the active players, and Johnson is the top candidate to lead this version of the Nets in usage and scoring. 

Sabonis has just one ceiling performance over the past month, so he is only a low-owned GPP option better left for large-field tournaments. 

Early foul trouble and a blowout cost Sengun some minutes in his last game against the Spurs. He had played at least 34 minutes per game in each of the three games prior to that, even with Jabari Smith back active. He has tremendous upside if he can see that level of playing time, which seems likely with Sabonis on the other side. 

Duren picked up two early, first-quarter fouls against Jokic last night, so he lost a good chunk of his first rotation. Then, the game was out of hand and he did not play the fourth quarter, finishing with just 18 minutes. Duren gets a much better matchup tonight against the Nets. The FD price is tough to stomach, but he is a bit too cheap on DK. 

Cam Thomas is out again after returning last night and D'Angelo Russell remains out, so there is plenty of usage to go around for the active Nets. Claxton has seen a 1.8% usage bump and 2.1% assist rate bump with those two players off the floor. 

Draymond is not the most exciting click, but the value options at the Center position are quite weak on this slate. Draymond has been on solid run of consistent production recently, scoring at least 30 fantasy points in six straight games. 

Edey is only playing around 20 minutes per night, but he is a consistent rebounder and shot blocker. There is a shortage of cheap Center options on the slate, so taking a shot Edey runs into a few extra minutes or has a spike in rebounds and/or blocks is not the worst idea.
