NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Friday Playbook

The dude is just elite at what he does. Everything he does. He has scored 32+ points in four of five and in each of those games he's put up at least 54 DKP. This is a great matchup against a Lakers team ranking in the bottom-5 in DRtg.

De'Aaron Fox has a 31% USG to begin with, but when DeMar DeRozan is off the floor, he sees a 6% USG bump to 37% and averages 1.45 FP/min. Both lead the team pretty substantially. He has a massive minutes ceiling and it's a must-win cup game for the Kings.

It looks as if Tyrese Haliburton has figured things out, at least on his floor, but guess what? They're on their home floor here. He's put up 58+ DKP in back-to-back games and 44+ in three straight. It's a good spot against the Pistons. He averages 47.7 DKP/game at home and 33.4 DKP/game on the road. 

With Grant and friends off the floor this year, Simons is a 25% USG player while averaging basically one FP/min. Simons has twice put up 34+ DKP and taken 20+ shots in two of his last three games. The minutes in close games have been close to 40 to boot.

Look, if Scoot Henderson can continue to play a boatload of minutes and be impactful in scoring the basketball, he has a pretty high ceiling at this price. It's basically status quo for the Blazers from last game and Henderson played 35 minutes. He definitely benefitted from Toumani Camara's foul trouble in the first half, but he played a LOT in the second half and Camara wasn't in foul trouble.

Russell's looked really good off the bench in each of the last two games and is in play at this price in GPPs. He was in the closing lineup over Rui Hachimura until the blowout happened and lost out on almost three extra minutes. The shot volume hasn't gone away off the bench and this is a game with 230 implied points. 

It's not an easy spot, but the Bulls and Celtics have 240 implied points and when LaVine gets it going, he gets it GOING. This game has massive cup implications, especially if the Hawks win. The loser is out and the winner is in.

The Pacers are running their starters MASSIVE minutes right now and Mathurin has played 38+ in three straight games. He's shown a VERY high ceiling when the scoring and rebounding are paired together and for a wing, to have five 20-point double-doubles through 19 games, not all starts either, is impressive.

Per dollar, Monk is one of the better plays on the slate for a second consecutive slate. He has a 23% USG and 1.08 FP/min without DeMar DeRozan this season. In just his second game back from his sprained ankle, Monk played 34 minutes.

The Lakers moved Knecht back into the starting lineup last game and what do ya know? He cooked. Not only did he cook, they won. He scored 20 points and had a 24.6% USG, which was second on the team to LeBron James.

Currently Walter is the slates highest rostered player. He started at PG for TOR last game and was amazing. He benefitted a little from garbage time, but he put up a 40 spot at min salary. He had a 23% USGand even if he benefitted from garbage time, he played 12 1st half minutes and 24 would be enough to smash at the price.

After a couple of subpar games, nobody is going to click on Wagner today. He's still dominating usage and shots and everything, but it's a premier people are scared of. Brooklyn, despite how scrappy they are, are 25th in DRtg this year.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike from Barnes' last game outside of the missed shots. 36% USG, 23 shots, near triple-double, didn't play in garbage time. He's now topped a 35% USG in back-to-back games and that's not going anywhere.

We don't know is playing for Brooklyn today, but if Johnson does he's one of my favorite GPP plays on the board. No Thomas or Schroder for sure and all the other potential outs could lead to a massive day for Johnson.

Avdija is going to be super chalk. No Jerami Grant again means he'll start and play big minutes. He played 41 minutes last time out and has 36+ DKP in three straight games. Lock and load for cash and GPPs.

The minutes have really been consistent for Jackson and that was a little bit of a concern when he first entered the starting lineup. 32 in back-to-back games and he's closed in them too. 24+ FP. Good matchup, good price.

Tatum fits best in GPPs but man, it's hard to ignore the game environment here. With Porzingis back it's harder to get to Boston, but this is a massive pace-up spot against one of the worst defenses in basketball.

The peripheral stats continue to be monstrous for James as he's struggled with his shot a little over the last few games. That said, this is an important cup game that the Lakers are going to play their starters massive minutes in. For context, he played 35 in a 27-point loss on Tuesday.

Without Chet Holmgren this year, JDub has been spectacular posting a 29% USG and 1.5 FP/min average. This is an amazing spot for OKC as the Lakers are very poor defensively.

The production has been a little inconsistent, but the minutes are on the rise and now, at this price, Siakam is simply too cheap. He's someone that can do everything when on the floor and when he's taking a lot of shots, has a really high ceiling.

Look, low-20's minutes is the role. He really hasn't shot the ball well but the defensive stats and rebounds are consistently there. He has a ceiling when the shot falls because he's such a good FP/min player.

Center is in a really good position today and Davis is amongst the best of them. He has a very high ceiling and a very nice floor. He's a walking-double and is live for a 30-10 games with multiple stocks and assists. Monster.

Without DeMar DeRozan, it's the Fox-Monk-Sabonis show, so you can play any of those three comfortably. He's an elite FP/min guy and is playing basically 40 minutes a night in games he stays out of foul trouble in.

What a fit in OKC, man. 29+ minutes in all three games he's played in and has three double-doubles with 38+ DKP in each. Hartenstein's height is going to be needed here as Anthony Davis is on the other side of the court.

Ayton returned to the lineup after two weeks off and played 34 minutes and was great and the price isn't reflective of it. They're without Grant, Clingan, and Robert Williams and without them, he's averaging 1.33 FP/min.

Turner has an elite GPP ceiling if we're going to get 38 minutes out of him like we did last game. I feel this way about the Pacers as a whole.
