NBA Best Bets Today, 3/22: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Saturday

The NBA best bets yesterday started with Harrison Barnes clearing his over 11.5 points with ease. In the process he helped the San Antonio Spurs defeat the Philadelphia 76ers. Julius Randle was unable to get off the hook, as the Minnesota Timberwolves destroyed the New Orleans Pelicans 134 - 93. Randle only played 25 minutes due to the blowout loss, and due to that was unable to continue his dominant performance.
The Denver Nuggets played all starters but Nikola Jokic, and inserted Russell Westbrook in the starting lineup against the Portland Trail Blazers. It was a great match as two divisional opponents put on a show with back and forth lead changes.
Portland pulled away in the fourth quarter, securing Meatloaf for Fantasy Alarm. The teased up spread offered at positive odds, paired with Harrison Barnes’ prop, earned a +1.28 unit return on investment. Proving, once again, that ‘Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad’.
NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 3/22
There are five games in the Association today, with two intra conference matches on NBATV. The first NBA best bet today looks at an off moneyline in one of those two nationally televised matches.
Warriors vs Hawks Prediction: Warriors Moneyline (-135 on Bet365) *BET OF THE NIGHT
The Golden State Warriors will be without Stephen Curry, who will be out for an extended period with a hip bruise. That has caused their line to dip against the Atlanta Hawks tonight. The Warriors have been playing well, and a great deal of that is Curry, but also the addition of Jimmy Butler.
Butler has freed up some pressure on Curry, and when they double-team him Butler has been able to take advantage of a mismatch. Now the Warriors have the opportunity to take on an inconsistent Hawks team, and should continue their winning ways despite Curry’s injury. Jonathan Kuminga is healthy and playing with intensity, which should help on the defensive end.
Golden State has won nine of their last ten games, are in sixth place of the Western Conference, and have a better defense than Atlanta. The Warriors allow 110.8 points per game while the Hawks allow 119.4. As great as Curry is offensively his defense is below average. Draymond Green will be active and he’s pitching himself for defensive player of the year.
Although a point of debate, he is contributing in ways that very few 35 year old, 6’ 6” players can. He has 22 steals in his last ten games, and nine blocks in his last three matches. Green paired with Kuminga is an underrated defensive backcourt.
The Warriors should have zero issues winning against the Hawks, and although the spread is only -2.5 points, a moneyline wager is suggested. Put a unit on Golden State to continue their winning ways against the Hawks.
Bulls vs Lakers Prediction: CHI +10.0 (-110 on DraftKings Sportsbook)
The Chicago Bulls continue to be doubted as they rise from the bottom of the Association. They covered the last spread we mentioned, and have a wonderful opportunity to cover again if not win the match. The Bulls are +10.0 point underdogs against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.
Chicago has won six of his last ten matches and are only 2.5 games back from eighth place in the Eastern Conference. They have an opportunity to keep moving up and possibly take eighth from the Orlando Magic. However they do not need to win this match for Fantasy Alarm to be successful. They need to not lose by double digit points.
As an underdog the Bulls have covered the spread, with a record of 27-25-1 this season, and on the road they have covered the spread in 52.9% of their matches. Los Angeles is clearly the better team and Luka Doncic has been magical over the month of March, but Chicago has star power of its own.
Coby White, Nikola Vucevic, and Josh Giddey are an under-appreciated big three, and their offense has improved since the trade of Zach Lavine. Giddey took the last Bulls game off, but he is starting to look like an All-NBA level player. He will be a problem for the Lakers tonight, and paired with White form a lethal offensive back court.
The Bulls average almost four points per game more than the Lakers, 116.7 to 112.8. Although the Lakers defense is improved, they will have difficulty preventing the Bulls offensive momentum swings. Put a unit on Chicago to cover the high spread, and if you are a new customer to DraftKings make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s promotional offer.
Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 3/22
The Milwaukee Bucks have been a team on the radar at the Fantasy Alarm Betting Bungalow, and that remains the case in the last NBA best bet today.
Bucks vs Kings Prediction: Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 12.5 Rebounds (-115 on Bet365)
Giannis Antetokounmpo is supposedly on a minutes restriction, but has played 34 or more minutes in seven of his last ten matches. Two blowout victories over the Los Angeles Lakers, and a match against the Dallas Mavericks are the only matches he has not played over 33 minutes. Today he and the Milwaukee Bucks continue their Western Conference road trip against the Sacramento Kings.
Antetokounmpo has been playing with an injury designation since the All-Star break, and the Bucks will do anything within their power to keep him healthy for the playoffs. He has missed the last two playoffs with injuries, and the Bucks can not win without him. They will need him against the Kings, but it is also a realistic possibility Milwaukee wins this match in a blowout. If that should happen Antetokounmpo would likely sit most of the fourth quarter.
Despite his minutes usage he has not earned over 12.5 rebounds in his last five matches. In fact he has only recorded 13 or more rebounds in two of his last ten matches. The addition of Tauren Prince and Kyle Kuzma has eased the rebounding burden off of Antetokounmpo. Which has led to lower rebound totals and more assists. He has gone over his assists average in five of his last six matches.
For Sacramento, Jonas Valanciunas will be filling in for Domantas Sabonis, and is a capable rebounder himself. His rebounding line is at 9.5, and Antetokounmpo will not be able to move Valanciunas around like he does smaller centers and power forwards. In addition to that, Antetokounmpo’s teammate Brook Lopez has been rebounding over his season average of 5.0 as well.
Put a unit on Antetokounmpo to keep the recent pace going of under 12.5 rebounds against Valanciunas and the Kings. If you are a new customer to Bet365 make sure to take advantage of the promotional offer below.
