NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 12/10
Only one bet took place yesterday, and it was successful! The same game parlay hit as all three NBA picks were successful. It took the full game, though, and the best part about it was the teased-down points of Jalen Brunson.
Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets teased down his line by 5.5 points and it hit exactly 20 points. In the process, a little over a unit was gained. A perfect way to end Week 7 of the NBA. The tens of thousands of sportsbook computers and algorithms are beyond intelligent…We are just smarter. Let's now dive into the NBA predictions for Tuesday night.
Magic vs. Bucks Prediction: Tuesday, December 10th
After one successful same-game parlay, we are predicting another successful teased-down parlay today. The Milwaukee Bucks are 7-point favorites in the first game of the NBA Cup elimination round and have a healthy roster. Khris Middleton has returned and has played two games.
The Orlando Magic will be without their two best players, Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Both of them are out with a torn oblique, but the Magic are a well-coached team. They have won eight of their last ten games and have a better record than Milwaukee.
The Bucks have won 8 of their last 10 games as well and although the spread is in question, the moneyline seems safe in a home game. The Magic are 10-0 at the Kia Center but 7-9 away from it.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has put himself back into the MVP conversation and appears happier than he has been in a few years. Perhaps it’s turning 30 years old, but it is more than likely the winning and playing at an elite level.
His points have been teased down by 5.5, and his rebounds have been teased down by 1.5. He could easily cover the set line of each in this elimination game, but teasing it down gives us a better chance of being successful.
Antetokounmpo is the second-best player this season and if he wins another MVP and championship, this decade could be called his as much as Nikola Jokic’s. Of course, being the NBA Cup MVP would help too. It all starts with a win today against the Magic.
Should you place this bet on Bet365, there is a promotional offer to receive a free bet on a threefold same-game parlay today. This bet qualifies and a $50 or more wager qualifies for a free $25 bonus bet, and $10 on any wager $20-$49.99. Take advantage by opting in BEFORE placing your wager.
- Expert NBA Pick: Bucks Moneyline, Giannis Antetokounmpo 25+ Points & 10+ Rebounds Same-Game Parlay (+125 on Bet365 Sportsbook)
Mavericks vs. Thunder Prediction: Tuesday, December 10th
P.J. Washington is listed as questionable with an illness. It is the same illness that has Naji Marshall and Maxi Kleber out. Should Washington play there is a great chance he covers this plus-odds prop.
Despite not making any threes in his most recent game, Washington has made 2 or more threes in 5 of his last 6 games. He has really developed his perimeter scoring and gets a few wide-open looks per game with Luka Doncic commanding so much attention.
The total for tonight’s game is high at 231 points. Washington has been a steady scoring option for the Mavericks, oftentimes with double-digit field goals. This bet only needs two to go in from behind the arc – something he has shown to be comfortable with. Put a unit at plus odds for him to make 2 or more threes tonight.
- Expert NBA Pick: P.J. Washington Over 1.5 Threes Made (+105 on DraftKings Sportsbook)
NBA Player Props and Other Picks Today, 12/10
Either the point total is off or the stars of this game are going to score early and often. Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are the stars, and they each have the highest projected point total for their team. Gilgeous-Alexander’s line is at 31.5 and Doncic’s is at 28.5 points.
Luka has been a scoring machine since returning from an injury break. He has scored 30 or more points in all but one game, and although the Oklahoma City Thunder have the best defense in the conference, Luka has scored against them at will.
He scored 29 or more points against them in three games of the Western Conference Semifinals, and we are counting on him scoring at least 29 points again.
Someone has to be the driving force to get to the 231-point total, it might as well be the reigning Western Conference Finals MVP. Put a unit on Doncic to shine in another elimination game.
- Expert NBA Pick: Luka Doncic Over 28.5 Points (-125 on DraftKings Sportsbook)
