Will Beatty
Player News
Will Beatty has re-signed with the Giants.
Beatty was cut earlier in the offseason by the Giants in a move to save money on the veteran offensive tackle's salary. Now that he is still available and back to being healthy, after a rotator cuff surgery, Big Blue has brought him back. He will be a depth piece for the O-line and Ereck Flowers should continue to be the starting left tackle on Eli's blind side.
Will Beatty was offered a contract by the Jaguars on Friday and is mulling the offer.
Beatty missed the entire 2015 season with rotator cuff and pectoral injuries. He's spent his entire career with the Giants but isn't on good terms with them after they released him. He would serve primarily as a depth piece in what is expected to be an improved Jaguars defense.
Will Beatty (shoulder) failed his physical before being released by the Giants.
After starting 47 regular season games for the Giatns from 2012-14, Beatty missed all of last season due to his shoulder injury.
Giants have released Will Beatty on Wednesday.
Beatty was the Giants starting tackle from 2011-2014 but missed all of 2015 due to injury. The veteran offensive linemen should have little trouble hooking onto another team assuming he has fully recovered from shoulder surgery.
