Tyrus Thompson was waived from injured reserve.
Thompson will obviously hope to be claimed off of waivers but if he's not, he'll start fresh and for his sake have a few options. Thompson is still just 24 so he'll find a new home.
Saints have signed offensive lineman Tyrus Thompson.
Thompson was a sixth round pick back in 2015 by the Vikings but has yet to appear in an NFL game. He will add depth to the Saints offensive line this training camp.
Lions have waived offensive linemen Tyrus Thompson.
Thompson spent most of last season on Detroit's practice squad after the Vikings drafted him in the sixth round in 2015. He will likely get a shot with some team in training camp, but his odds of actually making a team look pretty slim.
