Indianapolis Colts then rookie, Tyler Vargas suffered a concussion in Week three last season that carried with it symptoms he experiences for several months after. He missed the rest of the 2015 season, after being placed on the injured reserve list. He then returned this off season seemingly looking forward to returning to work. After being placed on the reserve/did not report list, Vargas filled out the appropriate paperwork, and was moved to the reserve/retired list.

Tyler Varga (concussion) has been cleared for football activities and intends to play in 2016

The second-year RB out of Yale suffered a scary concussion in his rookie season, effectively ending his year. He sat out the first few days of OTAs, but came back and even took some first-team reps with Frank Gore sitting out during the teams minicamp. A tweener with a lack of athleticism, Varga will be competing for a spot out of camp. Due to their lack of depth behind Frank Gore, if Varga is able to stick, he may be able to carve out some type of role for the Colts. His rookie year ended with 1 carry for 2 yards and 1 reception for 18 yards.

The Colts signed Ahmad Bradshaw on Wednesday and will use Varga's spot on the roster to activate him. It's unknown what role Bradshaw will have with the team but he is a great pass catcher out of the backfield and could split time with Frank Gore.
