Todd Herremans
Player News
Todd Herremans is working out with the Ravens this week on a tryout basis.
The longtime Eagle suited up for the Colts in eight games last year, but was not brought back into the fold in Indy. He looks to try and earn a spot in Baltimore, to help the Ravens' 26th ranked rushing attack improve. At this stage in his career, his impact on fantasy would be minimal, but his expertise could be valuable to projected left guard, rookie first round pick Ronnie Stanley.
Colts waived guard Todd Herremans and inside linebacker Amarlo Herrera.
A lot was made of Philly's decision to release Herremans this offseason to save a few million on the cap but that decision seems to make sense now. The 33-year-old guard has been being benched and a healthy scratch for several weeks now so it was really only a matter of time before this decision came down from the GM. He is now free to sign with anyone he wishes but it remains to be seen if any team would be interested.
Todd Herremans has been benched for the Colts.
Herremans will make room for Jake Mewhort, who moves from right tackle to left guard. Herremans is a competent backup, but the Colts will likely benefit from getting him off the field.
The Eagles have released Todd Herremans.
The nine-year vet was coming off a 2014 season that was cut short after only 8 games by a torn bicep.
