Takoby Cofield

After being released by the Seattle Seahawks back in early September, OL Takoby Cofield signed on with the Oakland Raiders, and joined their practice squad. Last week, Cofield suffered an inury, and it appears that he will land on the teams practice squad injured reserve, until the Raiders decide whether or not to bring him back.

With all the recent releases from their practice squad the Taiders were bound to make some additions. The first addition they have made is T Takoby Cofield and he will join their practice squad.

Cofield occupied the backup role to RG Brandon Scherff, who is expected to start. The move leaves the team thin at the guard position heading into the season, but then again, there will be many free agents to sign once all the cuts have been announced.

Cofield was hoping to land a reserve spot on the offensive line but the Redskins seem happy with their current depth. He'll look to land somewhere else but it's likely just going to be a practice squad gig.
