Titans signed EDGE Shane Ray.

Ray spent last offseason with the Bills, working with them throughout training camp before being cut during the roster’s trim down to 53 players. A former first-round pick of the Broncos back in 2015, Ray hasn’t played a regular-season snap since 2018 and also spent time in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts (2021-2022). He’ll be a long shot to make the Titans roster, but he should have ample opportunities to make an impression throughout camp and the preseason.

Bills released LB Shane Ray.

Ray hasn’t played in the NFL since 2018 but was hoping to secure a spot on the Bills’ 53-man roster after a successful stint in the NFL. The team released him with an injury settlement after placing him on injured reserve earlier this month. It’s possible this is the last we’ll hear of the former No. 23 overall pick in the NFL.

Bills signed LB Shane Ray to a one-year contract.

The former Broncos first-round pick hasn't appeared in the NFL since 2018. Ray spent the last two seasons in the CFL, posting six sacks and two forced fumbles in 18 starts. The 29-year-old will compete for a depth role in Buffalo as a sub-package rusher.

Ray was released by the Ravens on Friday.

Ray was considered on the 53-man roster bubble, but was ultimately unable to earn a spot. He spent his first four seasons in Denver, accumulating 94 tackles (64 solo) and 14 sacks in the process. Still only 26 years old, he should not have to look to hard for a new destination.
