Ryan Wendell

After placing both Ryan Kalil and Gino Gradkowski on IR, the Panthers had nothing at the center spot. Wendell has experience as a starter with the Patriots, so he is battle tested. For a quick signing, Wendell could prove to be a quality player for the Panthers down the stretch.

Just a minor thing here as Wendell returned to practice after being out sick Monday. He will be just fine moving forward.

New England's opening week starting center finally returned to practice after missing two weeks with an undisclosed illness. Wendell practiced with the second team on Monday, snapping the ball to Jimmy Garoppolo as he works his way back. Whether David Andrews remains at center with Wendell now back remains to be seen but New England's o-line has been very solid in the past two weeks.

David Andrews will start again for the Patriots. He's been solid so far and afforded Tom Brady plenty of time to throw the football. Brady is once again a top three QB this week.
