Ryan Lindley

The 27-year-old was only in Indy for Week 17 backing up Josh Johnson as Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselbeck were both out of service. In a career that has spanned four seasons, Lindley has six starts in that span including a couple in Arizona last season. He is nothing more than a number three QB on the depth chart for someone but he will get a chance at camp to make some team's roster.

Freeman wasn't exactly his old terrible self, but he wasn't lighting the world on fire, either. Matt Hasselbeck is approximately 823 years old, so Lindley could be auditioning for a spot backing up Andrew Luck next season.

With Freeman getting the start on Sunday and the rest of the Colts QB's all banged up, it will be veteran Ryan Lindley getting the job as the backup Sunday. If Freeman struggled early, you could see Lindley get a shot in the game.

Lindley is not a recommended pickup in fantasy leagues. ESPN NFL Nation reporter Mike Wells who covers the Indianapolis Colts tweeted, "The Colts have signed QB Ryan Lindley to take their final roster spot."
