Saints re-signed OL Patrick Omameh.
The journeyman reserve played 157 snaps between the regular season and playoffs in 2019. He had a bigger role for the 2018 Jaguars. 2020 will be Omameh's age-31 campaign.
Omameh signed a contract with the Saints on Sunday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Omameh signed a three-year deal with the Giants last summer but was waived by the team midway through the 2018 season. He was almost immediately picked up by the Jaguars to finish out the year, and will now will get a fresh start in New Orleans as interior line depth.

After signing with the Jaguars in June, the Jags will lose yet another player to injuries this season. With the Jaguars currently at 2-8 on the season and 4.5 GB in their division, it's likely that Jacksonville will have another high draft pick.
