Kevin Williams

The former first-round selection spent 11 seasons with the Vikings and has the most starts at defensive tackle with 171 in franchise history. Williams finished with 63 career sacks, 60 coming with the Vikings, good for eighth all-time on their list.

Williams is past his prime, but can still be an effective two down run stuffer in this league. Hopefully the Saints can get what's left out of the veteran tackle this season.

This is a nice deal for both the Seahawks and Williams. Seattle gets an outstanding and experienced lineman to add to their menacing core group and Williams now plays on a team rich at the position so the rotation of players should help him stay healthy this season. The Seattle defense should remain the No. 1 fantasy team defense once again.

The 33-year-old can still stuff the run up the middle, but he\'s simply not the player he once was and his pass-rushing skills have diminished. The Patriots will still probably get the most out of him which is something at which they excel. We\'ll wait to hear about an impending contract offer.
