Chargers place G Johnnie Troutman on the Reserve-Injured list.
A broken arm has ended the guard's season prematurely and costs the Chargers a player along the o-line with D.J. Fluker still out with an ankle injury. Chris Hairston should start at RG untl Fluker makes his way back with Troutman now out for the year.
Johnnie Troutman (arm) said it may still be a couple weeks before his return.
Troutman will serve as the immediate backup on the interior offensive line for the Chargers once he gets back healthy. For now Kenny Wiggins and Trevor Robinson will carry the load for the backup duties.
Johnnie Troutman (arm) did not practice for the Chargers on Wednesday.
Troutman should be considered questionable for the Chargers Week 2 contest against the Bengals after not practicing.
Johnnie Troutman (forearm) has been ruled out for Week 1.
