Jabari Price
Player News
Vikings placed CB Jabari Price on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
A former seventh-round selection in 2014 he has been battling the shoulder injury during the regular season and hasn't played this year. In the corresponding roster move Brandon Watts, a linebacker, has been promoted from the practice squad.
Vikings activated Jabari Price off the suspended list.
Price was suspended earlier this year for violating the substance abuse program and has been added to the active 53-man roster. The Vikings didn't need to cut anyone after moving center John Sullivan to IR.
Jabari Price said he appealed his suspension and it was denied.
He was appealing a two game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy following an arrest for DWI in December. He was only a contributor on the Special Teams side of the ball last season registering only 47 defensive snaps in 14 games. He will return in week three for the Vikings game against San Diego.
Vikings CB Jabari Price suspended 2 games for violating substance-abuse policy.
This is the league's suspension stemming from Prices arrest for DWI last September. Even with the suspension his roster spot shouldn't be in jeopardy.
