Greg Jennings announced his retirement from the NFL.
You have to love today's athlete and the way they make their statements to the world. We had LeBron make announcements on Snapchat and on Monday, Jennings announced his retirement via a YouTube. The last three years of his career were a mess between Minnesota and Miami, but we will remember the good times for Jennings in Green Bay. He caught 425 passes for 6,537 yards and 53 touchdowns in his seven seasons with the Packers and helped them win the Super Bowl in 2010. He won't make the Hall of Fame but we are sure Green Bay will honor his contributions.
Dolphins released veteran WR Greg Jennings.
Jennings comes off his least productive season as a pro. He appeared in every game for the Dolphins, but posted only 19 receptions for 208 yards, and 1 touchdown. He will look to sign as wide receiver depth somewhere, and should find a job. It appears that his best days as a fantasy wide out are behind him. He shouldn't be a target going into 2016.
Greg Jennings is unlikely to return to the Dolphins in 2016.
Once a prolific WR in the Packers offense, Jennings career has fallen off since his departure. He should latch on somewhere else in 2016 in an attempt to recapture his form from 2010 when he caught a whopping 10 touchdowns, as opposed to 2015, when he was targeted just 39 times, caught 19 passes, and scored once.
Greg Jennings caught four passes on five targets for 74 yards in the Dolphins 20-10 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
Jennings was signed this offseason with the potential to be the Dolphins No.3 wide receiver but he quickly found himself down on the depth chart. He will finish the 2015 season with 19 catches for 208 yards and one touchdown.
