Wichmann (calf) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, per the league's official transactions report.
Wichmann suffered a calf injury early on in Dallas' training camp, the severity of which lands him on season-ending IR.
Wichmann will miss an unspecified amount of time due to a calf injury, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Wichmann allegedly sustained the injury in Friday's practice. It's unclear how long the 27-year-old will be sidelined.
Cody Wichmann played every snap in Week 2 after rotating in Week 1.
Head coach Jeff Fisher and offensive line coach Paul Boudreau were impressed with how Wichmann looked on the right side against the Seahawks and took the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality by keeping Andrew Donnal on the bench this week. If Wichmann can continue to shine, he'll have a permanent spot on the line this season.
