Bryce Brown
Player News
Bryce Brown didn't play Sunday but head coach Pete Carroll said he wasn't hurt, it just worked out that way.
Other than Christine Michael, Fred Jackson was the only other running back to receive a carry in Sunday's win. Brown was signed near the end of the regular season but with Marshawn Lynch likely to return next week, Brown likely won't play again.
Bryce Brown rushed for 20 yards with a touchdown on 10 carries in Sunday's 36-6 win against the Cardinals.
Despite playing second fiddle to Christine Michael, Brown managed to score his first touchdown since the 2013 season in the Seahawks blowout win. With Marshawn Lynch set to return to the team this week, it is unlikely Brown will get a chance to prove himself as the Seahawks enter the postseason.
Bryce Brown rushed for 43 yards on nine carries in Sunday's 30-13 win over the Browns.
Brown was one of the top pickups coming into Week 15 after being signed on Tuesday to be the every down running back for the Seahawks, however things didn't end up that way as recently signed Christine Michael made the biggest splash out of the backfield. Those who were fortunate to make it out of Week 15 with a victory will want to use a different option with a lot at stake in Week 16, making Brown expendable at this time.
Newly acquired Bryce Brown is expected to start for the Seahawks in Week 15 after the tam parted ways with DuJuan Harris.
The Seahawks are starting Brown as they attempt to try to replace Thomas Rawls in the backfield, but this does not make Brown a good play for week 15. Brown has not played in a NFL game since 2014 with the Bills. In 2014, he had 36 carries for 126 yards along with 16 receptions for 176 yards and zero touchdowns in seven games. Brown is a good player to add to see if he can play well against an awful Browns' run defense. Jonathan Impemba has also suggested that fantasy players in seasonal leagues should pick up Tim Hightower and/or Denard Robinson if you are desperate for a running back.
