B.J. Raji
Player News
B.J. Raji has announced his retirement from the NFL.
The big lineman out of Boston College has decided to hang it up. He has been a reliable piece of the Packers' defense for the last six years. No fantasy relevance here.
B.J. Raji plans to retire from football this offseason.
Raji has been a durable piece of the Packers' defensive line only missing five regular season games in his 6 year career. Overall, this has no implications on fantasy.
Panthers are interested in B.J. Raji in free agency.
Raji is a full season removed from his torn biceps issue and even though he only posted 22 tackles and just a half-sack through 15 games last year, he will still draw significant interest given his abilities on the defensive line. Look for him to meet with a few teams before making his decision.
After the Letroy Guion extension, B.J. Raji admitted his future in Green Bay is in doubt.
Raji has been an ironman during his seven years in the league. He did miss the entire 2014 season because of injury, but other than that, he's only missed five games the other six seasons. The problem is, Raji's production continues to fall. He's only been able to record 0.5 sacks over his last three seasons. Letroy Guion seems like the man in the middle for the Packers going forward. Raji will likely be looking for a new home this offseason.
