Akeem Dent
Player News
Akeem Dent is out of the concussion protocol.
Dent will suit up for the Week 1 tilt against the Bears. He is a back middle linebacker, and will be used in place of Brian Cushing and/or Benardrick McKinney when either needs a rest.
Akeem Dent suffered an apparent knee injury and is questionable to return to Thursday;s game.
Considering it is the last preseason game of the year, no injured player is likely to return. The extent of Dent's knee injury is unknown, but it is possible that this will cost him a roster spot. He appeared in 12 games for Houston last season. The Texans should update his status on Friday.
Akeem Dent suffered a strained hamstring in Week 7.
Dent hurt his hamstring in the fourth quarter of today's game and will need to be further evaulated throughout this week.
Akeem Dent will start in place of Mike Mohammed (calf) Week 1 against the Chiefs.
Dent has started 27 games over his four-year NFL career, including seven in 2014 with the Texans. The Texans defense has a chance to be one of the best in the NFL this season, especially for fantasy, and this news should not impact them too much.
