The Spurs were without Zach Collins (foot) for Friday's game, and his absence opened up rotation minutes for Dieng. The 14 points and four 3-pointers are both season-highs for the veteran center, who hadn't even reached double figures in scoring before Friday night. As good as Dieng was, Friday's performance does not make him a worthwhile streamer when Collins sits. Sandro Mamukelashvili is the better choice, and he finished Friday's defeat with a full stat line of 13 rebounds, 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 29 minutes. Should Collins remain sidelined for Sunday's game in Sacramento, Mamu would make for a solid streaming choice despite that being a 13-game day. 

Dieng was just waived by the Spurs three days ago after spending the first two months of the season with them. He'll return to the bench role he was playing. He saw a start earlier in the season, but with Zach Collins healthy and backing up Jakob Poeltl, Dieng won't provide any value in fantasy hoops. 

Dieng was waived to clear a roster spot, so that the Spurs could trade for Vonleh, who they also waived. Since cash considerations won't be qualifying for the top-150 in 9-Cat rankings this season, there isn't a clear fantasy winner from this deal, since neither Dieng nor Vonleh played a large role for their previous teams.

Oh, dang! Dieng will get his first start of the season with Jakob Poeltl out on the second of a back-to-back set. The big man has averaged 13.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 2.4 blocks and 2.9 triples per 36 minutes this season so he's worth a look as a deep-league streamer or DFS dart throw.
