Wright signed with the Rockets after being bought out by the Grizzlies and was immediately hit with a right knee injury. The big man underwent surgery on it and would not have been able to return this season, so he will rehab with the Rockets without officially being on their roster. The team will use the open roster spot to sign Le'Bryan Nash.

Wright will be missing a fifth straight game Wednesday and it appears he'll be in line for handful more absences while continuing to progress in his recovery from a right knee injury. If the 2-to-3 week timetable for a return holds true, Wright's earliest return would come March 22 against the Pistons, though this all depends on how his knee responds to his rehabilitation. Once cleared, Wright will likely play a fairly minor role off the bench in the frontcourt and should struggle to post fantasy worthy numbers.

Wright will miss a fifth straight contest Wednesday as he continues to battle back from a right knee injury. He's only played in one game for the Rockets thus far, producing four points, two boards and one block in 15 minutes against the Nuggets on Feb. 25.

Wright has already missed the last three games with a sore right knee, and all signs point toward another absence Tuesday. The ailment was prevented the veteran from making an impact in Houston after he was bought out by the Grizzlies before the All-Star break.
