The Nuggets are finalizing a deal to hire Andre Miller as the new coach of the G League Grand Rapids Gold, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
This is a fun hire for the Nuggets as they get a former PG who spent six seasons with the franchise. Miller had an outstanding NBA career with averages of 12.5 points and 6.5 dimes across 17 seasons.
Andre Miller will start at point guard on Friday.
LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker won't be playing on Friday, so Miller will get the start. There are worse options in fantasy than Miller, but certainly some better ones as well.

No matter for fantasy owners, as Miller is a nobody in all fantasy formats. Tony Parker will continue to see most of the minutes at the point, with Patty Mills serving as his immediate backup.
Andre Miller scored 13 points (5-6 FGA, 2-2 FTA) including 1-1 3PA with five assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 25 minutes on Tuesday night against the Timberwolves.
Miller drew the start for San Antonio with three key guys getting the night off and took advantage of it with a serious season-high of 13 points. He was not a factor for Minnesota and hasn’t really been of yet for the Spurs save for the reduced roster they played with Tuesday. He could get a few more starts down the stretch as head coach Gregg Popovich will look to rest his starters for a playoff run. Right now he has not enough value to make it worth adding to a roster.
