Mike Baxter was reassigned to minor league camp.
The Mariners appear to have a ton of outfield options, and there was virtually no chance Baxter would make the team out of spring training. Baxter will likely never hit for enough power to be anything more than a fifth outfielder, but he can take a walk and play both corner outfield spots, and he will likely get called up at some point during the season.

The 31-year-old outfielder presumably also got an invitation to spring training. He is a career .228 hitter so even if he makes the squad he has zero fantasy value.
