Keyvius Sampson has signed on to pitch for the Uni-Lions of Taiwan's Chinese Professional Baseball League.
The 32-year-old right-hander hasn't pitched in the big leagues since the 2016 season. Since then, he has bounced around from the minor leagues, the Korea Baseball Organization, a pair of independent leagues and the Mexican Winter League. He spent the 2022 season in the CPBL, posting a 3.54 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and a 59/32 K/BB ratio over 61 innings. Perhaps another solid season there will be the springboard he needs to return stateside.

Sampson inked a minor-league deal with the White Sox back in April. The 30-year-old righty hasn't appeared in the major leagues since the 2016 campaign.

Sampson was sent to minor-league camp Monday.
Sampson received an invitation to big-league camp as part of his minor-league deal back in January, but his stay on the major-league side was fairly brief. He'll likely open the year with Triple-A Sacramento and wait for an injury to open up a roster spot in the big leagues.
