With only a .222 average, and five home runs in 2016, Paredes will likely get a training camp invite, but is not a lock to start the season on a Major League roster. He has no fantasy value.

Parades was an offensive disappointment after being claimed off waivers. He hit just .222 and is just organizational depth for Philadelphia at this point. He could find other employment this winter, as he has been successful in the past as a DH, who also has some ability to play multiple defensive positions.
